He watched the dragons try their luck lighting lanterns intently. Firefly took a notebook from a strap around his body without taking his eyes off the lanterns, and started sketching. His movement were quick but purposeful, and he soon had a few sketches of the lanterns and how they were lit. Firefly scribbled down notes for possible strategies and continued to draw. "You're over thinking this. Let's just light the lanterns and see what happens. We have a lot more of the festival to see." "Just a moment," Firefly said distractedly. "Do you even know what I said?" Ignis asked her mate. "Never mind, I'll just go get in line. I'll call you when it's time." Ignis rolled her eyes as she walked over to the line, but she was smiling.

He had just finished with the hatching of his nest and it was his turn to go out, while his mate, Alainn, stayed behind to tend to the hatchlings. Alainn had told him of the fun of the Ember Toss Game, so he'd promised her to check it out before going on to other events. "Three tosses, please," he told the attendant. "I don't think I'll be very good at it, though." The attendant smiled knowingly. "I hear that one many times a day, but there is no bad way to do it, my friend! Adrian took a breath and then depressed the bellows, watching eagerly to see if he could light up a bottle.

But here she was, out tonight. She was told she should go out and have fun. But there's way too much movement and it's just too hot. Really, she was out looking for gifts. There was a friend she hadn't seen in a while, and she wanted to meet up with him, and maybe bring him something while she's at it. He seemed to like fire... a little too much for comfort, so surely she'll find something of interest here. Her attention was grabbed when the snow streak beside her let out a noise and flew towards one of the stalls. Looks like the bird had spotted something of interest. When the fae followed, she found that she might have found what she didn't know she was looking for.
