Rainsong Jungle is my nemesis venue, so I'm sure I'll go there last. Which mob does the scorpion you are looking for drop from? I hope you are able to escape soon. I'm glad you got the egg, that way you can still feel good about the experience. =D

The scorpion drops from the proto manticore, which is one of the rarer enemies. I'm just glad it wasn't one of the shrimps from the boars, because they never show up for me. I've had a good amount of manticores show up, even pure mobs of them, but they just refuse to drop the scorpions.
