Yes, he's a XXY. The apparel matches with his color, but I can't say the same for his breed (Mirrors can't use a bow and arrow well, I'm predicting.).What I want to do is go from here... So that the bow and arrows actually have a purpose to be on him.[/center] If you at least looked in the specialty tab in the marketplace or auction house once, you'll see that breed changing scrolls are [i]EXPENSIVE AS [unintelligible]![/i] And a Wildclaw breed changing scroll is no exception. About 2000 gems. I didn't even hit over 100 gems in my first month! So, this is where I begin grinding, I guess. I'm just doing to document myself doing this project/challenge so that I can flex on everyone once they even say the slightest word about Interceptor in the future. Here we go. Oh boy, I'm gonna have to really work hard for this. It's nice, I'll give her that, but I feel like the Wildclaw breed would match up with Interceptor's '(Possible Clique) Professional Archer' theme. But, I will keep the Nocturne breed in mind, it seems like something I would make lore for one day.[/center] [center]20/6/20 Oh gosh, I'm starting to think I will really drop out anytime now. Erm, here's an update. Treasure: About 500kt. Gems: About 150. Yes, I actually grinded on Glimmer and Gloom for THAT long. If only I could cash in my treasure for gems. I could be looking at about 500 gems (assuming 1 gem = 1000 treasure). Just 1500 more to go. Mmhm. This really is a project too long for me, isn't it? Perhaps.[/center] [center]25/6/20 So to put it into a dramatic matter, I got the urge to throw some apparel at some of my dragons, passed out, and now there's about 100k-200k treasure missing from me. I've accumulated more than 1000kt over the past few weeks, via maxing out the lucky streak everyday. Now would be a great time to see if I could convert my treasure into gems. I'm just so caught up on catching up with my videogames though. Those matches won't win themselves! [/center] [center]26/7/20 I don't know why the RNG gods have forgiven me for breeding him, because as of now, two more Mirrors are sitting in my lair. And they are both from the second and third unhatched eggs I've ever hatched. So, congrats Interceptor, looks like you'll be the leader of the Mirror duo. I mean, assuming you need some backup. Conclusion: - 3439000 treasure spent on a Wildclaw breed changing scroll. - About two and a half months spent. - 1 fully upgraded nesting grounds. - 375 gems accumulated (glad I switched to getting treasure instead of getting gems) - I should like, sleep now. - Yeah, good idea. Ilmari, within hours of touching down in the Viridian Labyrinth, had already asked the matriarch, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/26206371]Tyrian[/url], for an introduction to a Wind clan. Peridot did not know if he wanted to go when he met [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/62398255]Corundum[/url], a fellow new arrival whom Tyrian was training to fight the Shade for the deities. Cor (for short) and Peridot enjoyed each other's company on the riverbanks, and eventually, Peridot confided in her his troubles. [i]You are worthy of love,[/i] Cor had said, [i]no matter what,[/i] and Peridot, despite his trepidation, fell in love all over again. They decided to nest even though, or maybe because, they knew they would not be together long. Their three hatchlings joined the crèche, under Tyrian's watchful eye. Cor wished Peridot the best of luck with his quest before leaving, and with nothing to keep him here, Peridot set off for new horizons. He still didn't know what he'd done wrong. "You traveled here together," she began, "yet he doesn't seem too invested in whether or not you also want to go to the Plateau." Peridot knew she was just laying out the cards as she saw them. Her conversation with Ilmari showed her willingness to help and her low tolerance for bull. It still reminded him of his isolation. What was it about him that kept driving everyone away? Was he just a bad dragon? Was that it? Somehow, he made it through the conversation, but as he rushed past a mottled green Fae with pink highlights, he didn't know if he felt welcome. Just tired. He tried to rest, but his head swirled with self-doubt, and his heart ached. Just as he gave up, the Fae from earlier settled down next to him. They looked at each other; it seemed they didn't feel chatty, either. No one made any move to leave, so they watched sunlight filter through the leaves and listened to birdcalls and a distant gurgling of a brook. Occasionally, he flicked his ear or scratched an itch, and the Fae would snatch the offender as a snack with a muttered "sorry." Somehow, he ended up giving them a piggy back. "Prophylaxis," they'd called it. The bugs didn't need a dictionary to get the hint and leave them alone. The Fae burped, and Peridot couldn't help the giggle that escaped. He tried to stop, but that just made it worse, and soon, he was in the throes of a full-body laughing fit. They fluttered into his line of sight. With a glint in their eye, they loosed a deafening belch. Peridot, on the verge of regaining composure, lost it. "Corundum." They flicked their wrist. "A mouthful, I know. Call me Cor! Overhead your conversation with Tyrian. Travelling and sharing the rainbow? Ambitious!" They spread out their wings and frills and put their claws behind their head, making their elbows jut out. "You think so?" Peridot's voice deepened. He gazed at her through his lashes. They flicked their frills up and down and meet his eyes. Theirs had become this beautiful dark grey, almost black. "I know so." Peridot saw their chest rise and fall in time with theirs. "What if they're ugly? Kind of inevitable if you're going for the full color wheel." Peridot gently flicked them with his tail. "You're awful." He giggled, and Cor followed suit. "I'd still love them," he said, "No matter how ugly or beautiful." An owl hooted in the distance. "Doesn't that apply to you?" Cor murmured. They placed their left hand on his snout and nuzzled. Peridot's breath hitched. "I..." He closed his eyes, tears running down his face, and nuzzled back. "Yes. Yes. Yes." [i]Even if I'm flawed,[/i] he thought, [i]I'm not alone. I'm still worthy of love.[/i] He felt Cor's right hand join the left and move down the fur of his neck. He took a deep breath, committing Cor's scent to memory. "Stay," slipped out of Peridot's mouth. "Please?" Peridot felt the vibrations of their chuckle against his snout. "I'm probably going to ask Tyrian to train me and then go to whatever deity needs me," they said, "and you'll probably be on your way, you know, with your quest and all." They hummed, languid, as Peridot nuzzled them again. "At least for now," Peridot amended. And they did.
