Average Reply Length: From 2-3 rather short paragraphs, to several medium ones (4 or more long sentences, I think), depending on relevance and mood for the roleplay. Slower, larger RPs get longer posts to deal with all the prompts from nearby characters. Two-player RPs with more conversation and close interaction are usually best suited to shorter responses, unless there's reason for a character to do their own thing for a while, or a lot of description becomes necessary (say, at a new location or a high point in the story).

Average Reply Speed: For group RP with long replies, once daily is the limit, though usually a longer wait is needed in a large roleplay. For small roleplays I can write two or more shorter replies if I have some free time, especially during character conversation.

Requirements, Preferences: For one-on-one roleplaying, the most important requirement is time overlap. Having to post while a partner is offline and then waiting overnight for a post is frustratingly slow, and encourages block posts that take away from close, responsive interaction. I'm usually online between 02:00 and 07:00 server time on weekdays, so it's important to find a partner who can post during at least part of that time.
I'm using the Flight Rising forums with primarily FR characters in mind (my other roleplaying endeavors are on RoleplayerGuild), but if I see another nicely constructed idea here I'd gladly have a go. I do have a Skype that I can use for roleplaying (PM me here first) if a forum thread doesn't work for one reason or another.

Characters

Totally dependent on the roleplay. I can make up a decent OC on demand, or I can play canon characters if it's needed of me (might even be better at those- I'm better at matching a pre-established characterization than making up my own, but I'm fair enough at both). For FR plots then, obviously, the character will be from my own lair.

In regards to what types I'm comfortable playing, I'm flexible. Humans, animals, monsters, what have you- whatever you need. Genders and sexualities beyond my own don't bother me, either, so, again, whatever is called for by the story.

Storyline

I'm down for literally anything. Marvel heroes role play? Sure. Middle Earth feels fest? Check. Flight rising? So game. Literally anything.

Average Reply Length

I'm an author at heart, and highschool taught me how to flesh out statements that otherwise would only be a few lines. I like to aim for a paragraph per character, or more if I'm only controlling one in the post.

Average Reply Speed

It depends on the time of year and what's going on outside the internet. I'm a college freshman with a STEM major hoping to get into vet school one of these days, which translates into me collapsing into a useless mess at least a few times a week.

What this means is I'll do my very best to reply once a day, but if I go over a week, feel free to give me a stern poking. I'll probably thank you for pulling me out of my headspace. Have a little patience with me, please!

Also, I'm about 3 hours ahead of server time- just for reference.

I prefer smaller groups to larger ones, as the larger the group the harder it is to feel involved in the story. In my experience, larger role plays devolve in smaller, independent storylines controlled by groups of two or three, and eventually just break completely apart. One-on-one RPs my ideal, but I'm okay with groups of two or three as well.

EDIT: I'm just returning after a very long hiatus, so don't be put-off by my den looking neglected, I'm around!

I currently have a diverse cast of fandomless, original character or fandom characters, all within the range of human, non-human, and mixed (nagas, bruh). These characters are all available within the requested storyline, and I have several that could fit easily into themed roleplays (human or non). My current dragons are available as well to roleplay, though not many have received a description in their information portion. That is a work in progress. I will say specifically if one dragon is unavailable for roleplay.

No, but I will be inclined to say hell yes to mythological/fantasy/supernatural roleplays. These are specifically my cup of tea, and for further detail, I absolutely adore Greek Mythology. I am willing to do general plots that range from FR to general, as well!

My posts will vary from one paragraph (consisting of four or more sentences) to novella (more than 12 paragraphs). However, the results vary on the effort put in. If my partner(s) write a lot of material to work with, I will do my best to match it. I do not do scripted roleplay (using asterisks for actions).

Average reply speed?

Within the day the previous post in question was entered. I do my best to keep up and stay in character, so I cannot give how many hours it will take. I'm fairly busy. Which brings me to times. Weekends and Mondays are my most active days for posting and roleplaying. However, that will change depending on my schedule IRL.

An open environment. I would also like to say that I have a tendency of leaning away from roleplays with more than seven people. Those roleplays have a habit of leaving out a few people from the roleplay simply because the other roleplayers are sticking to other characters. Diversity is best, and interactions with all is what I enjoy. Roleplay is about inclusion unless stated otherwise. No godmodding (wherein the character is abnormally strong without reason, untouchable, consistently hitting the other character without fail, killing another's character without permission, etc.), powerplay (controlling another character without permission) and metagaming (knowing information of the story without solid evidence of attaining said info). General rp etiquette, really.

Would you like to share any additional information?

Well golly gosh, me? Roleplayer for a long time, officially (as in, on the internet) for eight years. This includes deviantART, tumblr, GaiaOnline, and other forum areas. I'm an artist, as well, and I may be inspired to draw our character. In which case, I will always ask for your permission to include them. I'm still working with dragon anatomy, so it'll be great practice. I will inform participants of any changes or hiatuses I have to take do to IRL. It should be noted this is my first time roleplaying dragons. I have experience (heavily) with humans and other half beings (nagas, werewolves, demi-gods, monster people in general...). I will do my best to get better in handling dragons.

For the past few years, I have mostly played original characters and try to have my characters grow and develop through the course of the rpg instead of having the whole character inked out in the profile.

I don't mind playing fandom characters depending on the fandom. In the past, I have played Digimon and Gundam Wing characters as well as tried out other characters via friends requests for their roleplays, so even if I don't know the fandom all that well, I might be willing to give it a shot. Just ask and let me do my research before I say yes or no. =)

In all honestly, depends on how much the other players gave me to advance. I sometimes can post a few paragraphs and other times, I may just throw an one liner down if the mood is really tense or I feel at that point that some humor or that my character should be a total you know what right at that moment. As I said about my characters, I want the roleplay to be somewhat like real life and you honestly will never know what type of reply you will get in real life from someone so it would be the same from a character in a rpg.

I am usually on once or twice a day, depending on how busy I am. I might not be as active toward the fall due to attending college that is over 20 mins away from me but I shall try to respond at least every other day when that happens.

I have rpged with all kinds of people so really I have no quarrels of whom I rpg with. I am semi-literate/literate myself. When planning the rpg, I do like it where if the rpg isn't already formed, where everyone speaks out of character to form the ideas, plots, etc or even for amusement, have the characters bicker out of the roleplaying. I was in a roleplay on another site and we always spent hours having our characters bicker over something stupid in the OCC. Yes, we are crazy but we had fun and it brought together people whom otherwise would of been strangers into a group of a friends.

I tend to really like being in group settings til I know a person through even than, I may be a little unsure about 1x1 rpging. I do not mind rpging off site or on site, I have access to Skype {please pm me with your Skype name and I shall add you on first chance I get to} and have done rpgs on Yahoo Messanger, chat rooms, etc.

For romance based rpgs, I am open to any type of pairing unless my character is straight, than again, as I have said above, I like roleplays where the characters develop and change as the story and settings move on, so the character can start out as straight but if your character plays the right cards, who knows. *wink wink*

Just drop me a pm if anything else is needed, I have been rpging for over 14 years, I don't bite unless your like, really into that kind of thing than I might make an exception but yea, if you want to know more about my past experience {rpg samples, etc}, my characters or just toss ideas around.

I am usually on once or twice a day, depending on how busy I am. I might not be as active toward the fall due to attending college that is over 20 mins away from me but I shall try to respond at least every other day when that happens.

Any requirements for future roleplayers/groups?

I have rpged with all kinds of people so really I have no quarrels of whom I rpg with. I am semi-literate/literate myself. When planning the rpg, I do like it where if the rpg isn't already formed, where everyone speaks out of character to form the ideas, plots, etc or even for amusement, have the characters bicker out of the roleplaying. I was in a roleplay on another site and we always spent hours having our characters bicker over something stupid in the OCC. Yes, we are crazy but we had fun and it brought together people whom otherwise would of been strangers into a group of a friends.

Would you like to share any additional information?

I tend to really like being in group settings til I know a person through even than, I may be a little unsure about 1x1 rpging. I do not mind rpging off site or on site, I have access to Skype {please pm me with your Skype name and I shall add you on first chance I get to} and have done rpgs on Yahoo Messanger, chat rooms, etc.

For romance based rpgs, I am open to any type of pairing unless my character is straight, than again, as I have said above, I like roleplays where the characters develop and change as the story and settings move on, so the character can start out as straight but if your character plays the right cards, who knows. *wink wink*

Just drop me a pm if anything else is needed, I have been rpging for over 14 years, I don't bite unless your like, really into that kind of thing than I might make an exception but yea, if you want to know more about my past experience {rpg samples, etc}, my characters or just toss ideas around.

I am looking for an OC roleplay, but I am not fussy about the plotline and it can definitely be withing a fandom universe. For instance, I am interested in the FR, Pokemon and Temeraire universes particularly, but I am also open to any other suggestions.

Are you currently seeking a specific roleplay storyline?
No, but I can easily come up with one if you would like once we establish a setting and characters, or follow through with one you want to do.

Average reply length?
From one line to several paragraphs, depends if it a conversation or description of events.

Average reply speed?
This is the thing, I prefer to have very fast paced roleplay responses, as in have a session of replying to each other at the speed of a normal conversation between two people, then maybe a few minutes while the other types out a setting or action. If I am online, I will respond pretty much immediately to any messages, and I normally expect the same from my rp partner unless they have said they are going etc.

Any requirements for future roleplayers?
Skype would be best given the reply speed I like to work with, and that it is far easier to check and reply on, but other messaging apps would be fine as well.

I do enjoy romance rp, but I also love horror/gore, adventure and very plot based rp, romance can't be the only thing that is there but it welcome as part of the package. I am okay with any genderxgender, and will rp as any as well, just let me know before hand if you have a preference. No OP characters too, it just kills the mood.
