This happened right as that bird enemy tried to attack. I'm not sure what the enemy name is or what attack it was going to use, since this was the first time I've battled at this level, but the attack was an orange power-up type animation, so it was probably something physical. Only a guess though. All in all this looks pretty funny. Like the bird broke the coliseum screen with it's awesome powerrrr!

That's a Steam Gyre, and based on your description it was going to use Contuse. Just thought I should tell you :)
