[center][b]Skin: Taniwha[/b] Taniwha in Maori mythology are mighty supernatural beings that reside in deep pools, rivers and seas; protective and sacred guardians to some, and fearsome beings to others. With their abyssal lore and eel-like designs, Undertides have made me think of Taniwha since they were first revealed, especially given the connections between Taniwha and the longfin eel of New Zealand.
