@Alew Before anything else, I have to point out the perspective of your lore. I’ve never seen clan lore written like that before, and it’s so intriguing and amazing to have such an unreliable narrator! (I also need to nab one of your art dragons sometime… they’re beautiful!) I have to point out the man himself first. Chickweed has so much personality, both on his own lore as well as his views on everyone else. His story is really captivating, and it’s great that you can understand both his perspective and everyone else’s. Such a pretty dragon too! White is a simple color, but that and the bits of apparel he has give him such a vibe. (I hope this isn’t weird to point out, but he’s the type of dragon that would be a delight to RP with.) I love Falla’s outfit, first and foremost. Purple and black are amazing colors, especially when they work so well in tandem! And that unicorn horn and silver accent pieces are just incredible. The story in his bio, too, is actually really wholesome. I got some Feelings reading it, that’s for sure! Your clan just has so much emotion and personality. I’m not normally a fan of Ancients, much less Undertides, but wow. Halfsun is a beauty! I love how her skin looks on her- it makes her look like she’s wearing apparel without being too intrusive. And I just love some good sea creatures. What else could be hiding in the sea, I wonder? She really looks the part, too (complimentary)! I actually thought the Koi was part of her skin at first, it blends so naturally into the rest of her. And that beacon! The rose thorn banner even blends so naturally too… her outfit is so fitting. Maybe you want to know, Chickweed, but it’s not worth getting killed for. The skin makes her look like an angel statue you’d find in an overgrown garden. And the vibrant wildlife you’ve added sells that! Your dragons are just… so pretty.

I usually find these sets hard to work with, but you've paired two sets together and managed to make them feel cohesive, and the aviator scarf carries that light tan colour throughout his outfit and balances it out well. The branches from the woodguard blend in so well to his colours they look a part of him, like he's some living construct made out of animated wood. I really like the use of the thorn set on his wings to give them that wierd fragmented wing look and the way runes adds that drip of red around the eye to look like the blood tears, and the daredevil cover to give him his singular eye. The tail guard to act as that stubby little cactus tail is great honestly and even the halo is there! 10/10 outfit, to be honest. A great fandragon.

@Serpenta Oh, man. It may not seem intuitive based on how antithetical my current lair theme is to the defiant, pestilential rot of the Scarred Wasteland, but I'm thoroughly obsessed with the Plague aesthetic. There's something deeply compelling about dragons not just scraping by but thriving in an environment so impossibly hostile, their songs of endurance and survival mixing in discordant harmony with the screams of those who have failed the trials of the wastes—a hymn to the Plaguebringer and any other divine patrons of survival of the fittest, in this case Abadox. I wish you had a lore thread to shed more light on this goddess—a hand of the Plaguebringer, or simply an alternative name for Her? An entirely different deity in Her own right? Either way, She—and Her worshippers—are all fascinating (and beautiful!). All of that said, on to the dragons! Teratoma. It's an accurate name, what with the eponymous tumors existing in a horrific not-quite-limbo between life and death—monstrous amalgamations of tissues, too disparate and developed to fall neatly into classification beside their more cancerous cell-brethren, yet hardly capable of being considered alive. Your Teratoma similarly lingers on that brink: he's a portrait of pestilence and decomposition, yet at the same time, vines hang from his wings and leaves blow around him. He exemplifies that juxtaposition between growth and decay so inherent to the Plague Flight in an absolutely stunning way. I also really like his quote—full of life and curiosity, yet with a distinctly autumnal aesthetic. Autumn is the season of decay, yet it's also arguably the most beautiful. All of that aside, I really love Teratoma's colors. You really took the subtle greenish accents of his skin and ran with them in a way that's subtle but integral to the cohesiveness of his whole look. I love that all of the apparel you used to incorporate that green are more understated or dual-toned—the hints of Autumn Harvest are freakin' brilliant with how well they mesh together, as well as how they complement his aesthetic in general. Absolutely STUNNING dragon, hands down <3 Fenris' aesthetic is one I didn't know I needed. Mostly dark, but set alight by splashes of magmatic fire? Marvelous. It's the perfect appearance for a dragon who once prowled the scorched plains and forests of the Ashfall Wastes. He looks delightfully feral, too, with that mane of wild fur and that dark hair dripping down his back and tail. I absolutely love the use of the Furious Headdress here—it lends Fenris a set of vicious teeth and that aforementioned wild hair to really emphasize the savagery of his nature, yet you managed to keep his visage distinctly draconic with the helmet layered above. It's such a clever bit of apparel manipulation and I absolutely love it! I find the inclusion of the garland and flower crown to be pretty smart, too. I know they were added in order to better tie his skin in with the rest of his apparel, but I'd like to think that they're somewhat symbolic of Lorica's curbing of his beastly demeanor. He's hardly tame by any stretch of the imagination (no matter how beautiful, those flowers adorning him are still wild), but he has found some semblance of control. I know it's super low-hanging fruit to go after an avatar dragon, but man, I'd be remiss if I didn't include Euria in this lineup. There's something deeply, unsettlingly otherworldly about him. Those grasping hands wreathing his wings gave me the impression of some sort of creature of smoke and darkness, as transient as the wind, but never truly gone. To put it in another way, he feels like some sort of personification of decay and change. It might be the flower petals and summer swelter emulating the falling and blowing of autumn leaves, or it might be the name of his skincent, but either way, there's a haunting, preternatural beauty about him. I'm also really fond of what you've done with his eyes and claws. Those glowing Plague eyes might be what really drove home my impression of Euria's nature as something ethereal and sinister, and adding the clawtips to accent them just makes his whole vibe that much cooler! I'm a huge fan of accent colors that stand out front-and-center yet which are scarce enough on the dragon to keep everything looking nice and organized, and you executed that perfectly here! Brannon's lore is super intriguing. I can't help but feel a bit of pity about his fate—not so much his inevitable corruption by arcane knowledge, but rather at his impressment into healing by bitter, brutal necessity. I keenly feel his need for perfectionism—when stakes are as high as life and death, you don't have the luxury to practice reluctantly or with a wandering mind. That said, though, he seems mostly content, and his dedication to his mate is super sweet. I love it when there's a genuine love between partners—Avril is truly his rock, and picturing the two of them tending to the ill as well as to each other gives me the fuzzies. Brannon is absolutely gorgeous, too. The moment I saw him I figured he had to be one of Lorica's gentler figures—a healer, perhaps, which ultimately proved to be the right impression! I really like how his personality sort of offsets that superficial softness, though; certainly his true nature is that of someone kind and humble, but crossing those traits with an outer coldness is not something I see often (a shame). I love how you combined the light and wind auras here—the layering of the motes of light over the feathers makes it seem as though the glowing particles themselves are wreathed in gusts of gentle wind. It's super gorgeous and goes really well with his colors in general! The candle cascade is a nice, subtle touch as well. A bit of a departure from the aesthetic I've been centering on, but no less beautiful! My aesthetic tastes are a bit... haphazard, to say the least, and Marchioness exemplifies one of the many that have managed to find their way into my heart: that quintessential Arcane look. The Starfall Crystalcloak is a bit of apparel I've been desperate to use lately, but my lair's theme doesn't really offer me many opportunities to play around with pink. Using the Nebula Starsilks was a really clever move—the cloak sort of "completes" the Crystalcloak to make it more dress-like, while the gradient of the Wingdrapes complements the Ethereal Flame Wing Ribbons and the other golden accents you incorporated. I'll admit, I completely forgot that the Shardhide was even an available bit of apparel—but it works so well here! I feel like it complements the vicious, mouth-open, mid-stride pose of Mirror females, giving Marchioness a character that's both ruthless and lethally elegant. She feels like the perfect characterization of Arcane, honestly, whether that was intentional or not—something cosmic and beautiful and dangerous all at once.

Philospher's veil is always such a great apparel choice, and paired with the compass and raiments makes for a very cohesive look! I'm also a fan of the contour-oddly enough I feel like I don't really see the yellow/blue combo often on this site, and Commodore wears it so well! I really love how you used the buttercup lace apparel to match the contour, the bits of blue are great contrast against everything else. He's got such a fun personality too! This guy stood out to me immediately!! Teal + gold is one of my favorite color combos ever, and this guy wears it beautifully. I really love how subtle the accent is because it blends into his other colors so nicely! The shield is great contrast too, with the gold frame matching his other colors and the white providing a focal point to draw the eye. Solid apparel choices all around, especially the amber jewelry. OOH.... She's so cool!!! Excellent color combo, I'm loving the varying tones of dark green, blue, and purple alongside pink and red. The incense, aura, and lanterns work together really well without being too cluttered. The kelpie mane is an awesome touch and I love her whole vibe of "mystical swamp beast thing" going on. The purple clawtips are the cherry on top, it really ties the whole look together! I love this guy. Spirals are one of my favorite breeds, and VOID takes the cake! I'm really liking the goat eyes + glasses that gives him a little extra charm. The skin is lovely on him, adding a lot of detail that gives him a refined look, and the apparel set is fairly minimal but very effective at complementing the accent! Gold/black/cyan is a really sleek and classy color combo and he really wears it well. Instantly entranced with this guy up against the scene background. I love the intensity of his gaze that's emphasized by the accent, he's just a very striking fellow all around. I find it almost hard to believe that he's only got 2 pieces of apparel on him. Smokeswirl frames up his silhouette really well and is a nice match for the accent! I'm a fan of his lore too, I just know he's got so much pent of rage that he's patiently waiting to unleash. Your dragons are lovely!! I can tell that you've put a lot of work into writing the lore too :] next person: All tabs except for breeding projects, the last 2 pages of bottom storage, and tentative, are fair game!

I can tell that you've put a lot of work into writing the lore too :]

@DreamyChimera It took a while to settle on the five dragons for this, it was a hard choice because you have a lot of gorgous dragons and cool ones, there was a lot more dragons of yours I wanted to talk about but I guess maybe another time will comes for that. I loved looking through your lair! <3 First up we have Cerulius which I have to first say, his lore is amazing. I love the idea of a dragon messing around with the shade. I think it's a bit of an under explored idea and is among one of the first times I've seen it. Second of all I adore his looks, the outfit and the choice of apparels are so well made and gives him such a cool look and at the same time an off putting and slight uncomfortable one. Which I think fits him quite well. I love how their outfit makes them look like a stylish no nonsense jewelry thief or something. I really love the well picked apparel pieces for her. The gemologist fits her so well and I can really see her picking up some tool to from her bag to figure out how to bust into a vault or something. Also the teal feathered wings looks amazing on her aswell. 10/10 Zariah is really cool looking. I love the mixture of pale and light apparel and accent against their own darker colours. It's giving etherial vibes and sort of fallen angel vibes and I'm here for it. The pinkish purpleish hue from the gloom opal looks amazing together with that accent. Honestly think their one of the coolest dragons I've seen in a while, it's not a colour combo most would go for, but that's what makes them so unique and I think the apparel and everything go together so well. love it. But dayum. Ebony and you have proven me wrong. It looks amazing and I think the way you've used the buttercup lace and the seraph head piece together with the powerpack coat it makes it come off less as lace and more as cables and weird circuits. Which fits Ebony really well and gives them a really interesting look and fits so well against her otherwise darker colours. Not until it's to late. I really like how dark his wings are and look especially with the help from the starsilk. It really looks like a piece of the night sky in wing format. I also like that he has those pale ice eyes since I can totally see that he's all smiles and rainbow but then you meet his eyes and everything stops because you realize there is no warmth in them. Combined with his colors and genes it makes him look like a spring sprite. I love how all of his colors have green-ish accent shades, making everything match wonderfully, cinder and blaze are the perfect choices here. The accent is cute and really fits, especially with the pink of the watermelon space. Beautiful indeed! Your choice of apparel is perfect and you created a wonderful outfit for him. On any other dragon the pieces might look random and cluttered, but they match him so well and aah I am so very much in love with him. I would totally steal him away, what a gorgeous gen1! But the Auqua stained! Makes them Green! And I love it she looks so GOOD! Slime and foam are perfect picks imo and once again you did an awesome job with her outfit! I really like the small flecks of orange on her, they add some more intense color while the sepia rose pieces blend more in but are still beautiful on her... What a stunning feather sneak!

@desmodium I gotta compliment the way your lair is set up! It's quite lovely and looking through the tabs is a treat. What nice little descriptions they've got! It was hard picking only 5 dragons, haha. You've just got such a nice bunch of dragons. I'm typically not a fan of innocent eyes or permababies, but she's simply too adorable to pass up on! @desmodium

I gotta compliment the way your lair is set up! It's quite lovely and looking through the tabs is a treat. What nice little descriptions they've got!
It was hard picking only 5 dragons, haha.
You've just got such a nice bunch of dragons.
