As the harpies drag the innocent bystander away, Blair strides up to Momoka, a bright grin on her face, and holds out a hand. "May I have a flyer, please?" Blair skims over the rules for entry and the list of themes while Momoka launches into a detailed explanation. Once all is said and done, Blair bids her a joyous see-you-later as she rushes off to find some models! [center]~[/center] The atmosphere at the fashion show is cheery, save for a few cases of stage fright - Blair sympathizes with the models, of course, but she can't possibly imagine being nervous about showing off a flashy outfit in front of a crowd! Her heart is aflutter, but for a different reason - her own piece de resistance is hidden under the floor-length peridot gown she wears, and her wings are tucked tight to her sides to hide the intricate jewelry she's donned. It wouldn't do to spoil the show, after all! Beside her, Aeolus fusses with his mask for the thousandth time, while Dominic adjusts her layered cloaks so they fit just right. It's nearly time for the show to begin... I wanted to include some pieces from the first festivals I attended as a youngling, as well as pieces I've collected in Jamborees since. As each year goes by, we see the winds of change blow through...but we always make time to return home and celebrate our heritage! That will never change!" [center]~[/center] As the crowd applauds, the three dragons bow before departing from the stage. Once they're back in the dressing room, Aeolus immediately pulls off his mask and begins grooming his flattened feathers, while Dominic lifts the heavy Gladeboughs from her shoulders. "That was a lot of fun!" she says, wiping a bead of sweat from her brow. "I wasn't so sure at first, but you might be on to something, Blair!" Aeolus nods his assent. "Maybe we can do this again next year!" Blair smiles. "Don't be in such a hurry to wish away this year's event - make yourselves decent and then we can go join the crowd! I'd like to see what the other entrants have come up with...!"

The Wild Beats are generally a colorful, cheery group, but they're aware that occasionally, others can be hostile or simply lost, particularly in the winter when snow and blizzards can make a traveler lose their way. Astra is a part of the Wild Beats' night guard, flying out at nights to sing during her patrol. Whether that song sounds calming or haunting depends on the listener's intentions. Though she patrols no matter the season, she perpetually has snow falling from her. Great to keep cool during the summer and great as camouflage during the winter!
