You ever take on a breeding project and are shocked to learn that a color combo you expected to be decently common is actually extremely rare?
Not necessarily talking about the really outlandish combos that people wouldn't think to deliberately breed, but there's only 9 unexalted dragons on site with Abyss/Obsidian/Abyss, and that... feels like it should be way more in demand. none of them have the eye color I'm looking for either aauuugh
I've even had combos with colors all in the same range or heck, right next to each other, and often times there's less than 50 dragons at most in existence. Have you searched for combos that you feel should be a lot more common than they actually are?

antique and thistle are practically made for each other
I'm breeding for antique/thistle/thistle and there are only 8 dragons with the combo
a/a/t has 79
t/t/a has 24
t/a/t has 2
t/a/a has 40
a/t/a has 15
total grand total doubles with the combo is 168
I hope this combo becomes more popular, I mean, look at it!

Thistle's closer to the purple range than the white range but it's honestly the grayscale range combos that always surprise me the most when it comes to rare combos, considering how popular they can be

Update: I went looking. There are a total of 6 unexalted - 2 of them predate her, neither active. 2 newer active ones were born within the last 6 months. Including exalted ones there have only been 23 ever and one of them was a breeding of mine that produced a male instead.

you'd think that a simple combination of primary colors, especially pre-expansion ones, would be more abundant, but blue range/yellow/red is stupidly rare. and ofc i needed 3 different breeds of male for my fandragons. fortunately, they're all bred now and i can go back home once mistjam is done!
