Oh this sounds very fun!! Even one or two more tools would be fun, let alone a whole new interesting set of them :D
I recall a previous suggestion that touched upon how easy it is to stockpile tools since Arlo as a whole has become a bit stale. Something like this would liven it up quite a bit and I think it would work nicely with, for example, a plot that has a lot of reason to continuously gather resources on (so maybe if there's a plot one day that adds battle items...).

These are all amazing ideas but am envisioning Arlo being horrified at you for using dynamite in an archeological site sjhsjsh
Something else that could be added is maybe Lunch Break, which lets you use food points to shorten digging's time to 5/7.5 minutes (but only for the next 30 minutes, after which they take 10/15 minutes again. And should be used for a max of twice a day imo)

This would be a fun shake up.
Dynamite on an archaeological/paleo dig is so wrong, but feels so right as a gameplay device. XD
I love the additional strategy this would add. Support!

I feel like dynamite could be lored similarly to the blasting powder from the dustcarve dig, where fire dragons can control the explosion somewhat to avoid damaging the items.
Anyway, support, having more strategy with Arlo would help break up the checking in monotony a lot!

Okay, so I have no real problem with Arlo as it stands now...
But this sounds super fun! I'd love more tools for him, to refine the strategy a bit. So, support!

I really like this idea. It adds new elements to the game play and combines other suggestions people have had for the game. it also laves the door open to new items. Maybe your level also determines the items you can get. A more experienced digger would be trusted with a bomb, for example.

I actually really like these suggestions a lot! It sounds like they would be pretty fun to use!

I like this it sounds really fun! All the tools sound interesting to use for how they work and they also match the theme of Arlo really well!

Arlo definitely needs something . He's so boring, more tool types and variety would definitely spice things up.
