Snowblind was making a pilgrimage with her family in the small mountain range bordering Conifer Cove when a sudden and violent blizzard struck. The hatchling became separated from her parents in the whiteout conditions. Fortunately, she stumbled into a rocky outcropping and was able to take refuge there through the worst of the storm. The cold took its toll, though, and when [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/27149370][b]Frostflower[/b][/url] found her several days later while on a hike, the little hatchling was barely alive. Although Frostflower was able to nurse her back to health, the exposure to the elements left Snowblind with permanent damage to her eyes.
Despite this, she has become the most skilled mountaineer in the region, and her passion for exploring and charting the mountains has helped to make the slopes bordering her clan a much safer place for visitors and travelers to the region. While her vision is extremely poor, Snowblind is still able to see basic shapes and colors in her surroundings. This allows her to identify landmarks, and even enables her to read her trusty compass, which is specially customized with braille directional markers. With her Owlynx companion, Journey, always by her side, Snowblind is able to traverse the toughest slopes and ridges with ease.

Derr hatched blind; it was because of that, that when he tried to fly for the first time he crashed into the forest surrounding my clan's Caves. Since no one can leave the forest once they enter, he was adopted into the clan, and he decided to be one of the hatchling caretakers as he got older.

Crypt doesn't have his lore typed out yet, but he guards a boggy graveyard in the mire. He can't see, but he can hear and smell and feel vibrations and ripples really well, and if he doesn't find you then his pronghorn stomper will!
