I think I payed around 500g for an XXX Sanguine Petals/butterfly/glimmer coatl back when those were big. In hindsight I still feel I overpaid but I was a lot newer to the site and got caught up in the hype of the new genes, plus the excitement of having my first XXX breeding pair. I did end up making back a majority of that from selling hatchlings though. Currently I think my most expensive dragon (just the base dragon itself) is maybe Lucian? Tbh, I just really wanting his color/gene combo, and I had a little more saved up by the time I bought him. Second most expensive is probably Algorab, my shadow primal, but I'm pretty sure I still payed a little less there. Most expensive dragon(s) overall would probably be one of my gen1s, so many scatterscrolls on some of those...

I once impulse purchased a dragon for 2000g, which is a price range I usually don't justify spending. XD But she turned out to be a favourite and prolific Coli grinder, so it was worth it.

probably her? her original colors werent what i was looking for so i had to scatter her around 3-5 times, and then im planning to use strictly gem genes on her, so... X_X

I can't remember exactly what I bought this guy for, but I know it's the most I've ever spent just outright on a dragon. Like many on the thread, it's a gen1 with a double color. I had been looking for dragons to start a breeding project to get this outcome, but then I found him for sale. It must've been somewhere between4-6kg? There's a handful of dragons I've spent a sizable (like 10kg+) amount on, but of all of them, this guy takes the crown: [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/576505][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/5766/576505_350.png[/img][/url][/center] After possibly my most intense auction battle I've ever been in, I ended up winning this guy for a whopping 90,000 gems! It's the highest base-purchase price I've ever done before, and, gene-wise, he came as you still see him now. I assume the price got that high because of his particular element (which is a big deal in the oldies community apparently) and his particular XXY color pattern. No regrets on the huge price tag though, I still equally love him today [emoji=familiar heart size=1]
