Mallard! Where the regular patterning matches the mallard duck, but the head is either the primary or accent colour.
The simpler body patterning of the mallard is nice for the addition of tertiary genes that add patterns or accents.

Continuing with the duck theme.... the Mandarin Duck! It would be really cool to utilize the variety of patterning on these little guys - especially on dragons with ruffs like Aberration/Obelisk/etc. (its just so satisfying and soft-looking)

Given that Aberrations have Ground/Fissure, I'd love for another Ancient breed to have Boulder/Myrid, and in particular I'd ADORE for Veilspun to have Tide/Foam!~

Pinstripe/Trail and Petals/Butterfly certainly deserve to be put on Veilspun
Tapir/Striation, Slime/Sludge, Fans, Angler and Koi deserve to be put on Undies
Ground/Fissure and Leopard/Clouded deserve to be on Gaoler
Ground/Fissure, Python/Morph and Ripple/Current deserve to go on Banescales
Myrid/Boulder and Poison/Toxin deserve to go on Aberrations
And I think we should get the modern versions for Chevron/Arrow, Shell/Web, Orb/Weaver and Boa/Saddle OR Octopus/Rings

We *need* iri/shim and/or met/al on undertides. One cannot have circuit without iri/shim (but met/al will do, if we must)

That would really help plan ahead for projects, I'm kind of stuck waiting to scroll some dragons because what if the parallel gene I like better is about to be released
