I definitely wanna get Violet! Though I'm currently super busy with university so I'm not sure when I'll get it. I've been wanting to buy legends of arceus and play it too but I still haven't. As for the starters so far with the leaks I've seen I'm not super excited about any of them but I'll probably pick sprigatito. Though I'll decide when we get some better views of all the final evolutions

For once I ordered both from the start. I want to try for a complete dex for the first time as I've never been able to do that before (I'm mostly just enjoying building a team of pokemon I like usually lol). I'm not entirely sure what starters I'll choose but I'm leaning towards Sprigatito being one. I pre-ordered off the pokemon center website so I'm really hoping it comes on time as usually I'd preorder from gamestop but they were no longer taking preorders for the double pack by the time I remembered to preorder.

I'm incredible excited! Planning on picking Fuecoco, which is neat since I haven't picked a Fire starter in a long time!

I'm going absolutely bonkers for these games!!! It's been so hard to avoid spoilers bc my hyperfixation is in full force which means all my brain wants to do is Consume Media but i'm trying to in with official info only :'D
I love all three starters, and i was really hoping we'd get news on at least the middle evo by now... Would make it easier for me to choose lol. For once, though, I think I like the fire and grass starters more than the water starter. Might still start with Quaxly though, I'm not one to break tradition xD

yes omg im so excited!!! i finished the majority of PLA like two months ago and i can't wait for more content to explore :D
I'm cautiously excited. I'm interested to see how this game is going to play out with the open world mechanics. The Pokemon I've seen so far have been either hit/miss for me (I adore Greavard so much, definitely my favorite so far). Considering how Sw/Sh was, I'm waiting to see what the game is like in terms of quality before I end up buying it.
If I do get it, I'm going with Quaxly as my starter. I really like ducks and I like their pompadour.

No, I am not excited. I do understand with Ed Sheeran singing "Celestial" throughout the trailer why it can be heartwarming. I jumped from the Pokemon ship a few months ago and while I do not blame others getting excited with some fanart already of some of the trailer released Pokemon I'm a bit "here we go again".
I will admit that I used to be excited when the games came out including owning a copy of Pikachu/Eevee Nintendo Switch when transferring from Nintendo DS. But....
After Pokemon Sword/Shield I was very disappointed with post-game content. I did purchase the DLC but I remember being mad because you know what it is to pay $30 for new content? It was dissatisfying. As some reviewers had pointed out problems with the game (I didn't argue for Pokedex completion) but also Pokemon HOME costed extra that I suddenly didn't like the future of Pokemon games if it meant paying extra for features.
It sort of went downhill for me at that point. I'm not a competitive player but the future of Pokemon games really sucks if you have to pay extra money for features like Home and DLC. I jumped ship at that point.
I also went through a phase of donating all my Pokemon games outside the nintendo Switch ones. I haven't even touched any of the Pokemon game outside Go (because that's the one a relative is into and I can't get them to stop).
I didn't play Legends: Arceus but as I said I jumped the ship and am staying on that ship. No offense to those that are excited for new Pokemon games.

cautiously. i sympathize and agree with a lot of what Al3s1s (sorry for the ping) said.
my roommate insists on buying it for me, and of course i tried to talk him out of it. i dont feel theyre worth the price from what we've seen. i didn't finish swsh because i disliked it so much. i only play arceus as much as i do because it was a hand-me-down. and i'm not immune to shiny hunting
but i do like these designs, some of the shown mechanics im not sure about (the terra gimmick is horribly lazy to me, i wish they stuck with megas)
but caution and negativity aside i'll be getting scarlet, because i love the big red feather duster so much. and i think i'll be getting sprigatito first, but i might run through with them all. and nacli will definitely be on my team, love that little salt rock fella.
im bad with names, but a good amount of the revealed pokemon i actually really like, which is great! it's already got a much different reaction from me than swsh, i'm hoping it lives up to and surpasses all our expectations (positively)
