He straightens up, clears his throat awkwardly and ambles up to the desk. "Hey, names Ophiuchus but you can call me Ophi. Lookin' to grab a bounty, I think I got the right place-" he notices Spirit sitting with his drink. "YO SPIRIT! The heck are you doing here?! You're supposed to be back at the lair like yesterday man." Spirit's eyes widen and he hurriedly leaves the station with Chatter in tow. "Anyways where was I? Ah yeah! Bounty stuff." He places a hand on the scanner and after a moment a number is spat out: [b]70[/b] [i][Cos Spirit's technically been here for like 5 days or something XD][/i]

Before it can be turned into origami Ria reaches over to snag it. He's given a dirty look for his trouble but that doesn't stop him from handing over the paper to Ophiuchus. Ophi scans the bounty, nodding to himself. "Allllrighty then, eyebird huh? I got this." [center]-----[/center] After a few days, a weathered and bruised Ophiuchus returns to the station, dragging a squabbling bird creature with him. He brings it to the desk and holds fast. "One eyebird as promised, put up a heck of a fight though. Took me a good two days to find her skulking in some grimy swamp. I thought 'hey that's easy' and took a nosedive towards her, she turned and that creepy big eye stared right at me. Realised my mistake right then and there." He shifts onto his haunches and holds up Whisper; its singular eye glaring at the Ridgeback with seething hatred. "Birdy here jumped out the way and I ate dirt. Embarrassing and stinky, yeah. She tried to make a break for it, squawking awfully. Recovered from my dumb move and gave chase. It took a few hours: flying through trees, running through mud, tripping over vines you name it. She was quick - but I was quicker. Managed to corner her in a thick grove of trees." Ophi gets a bit more animated, almost forgetting he's holding onto his quarry. It doesn't appreciate being moved about and lets out a frustrated caw. "Shush you I'm telling my story here! Anyways, we come to a standoff; both of us ready for action. I go in for a lunge she goes in for a dodge, but my lunge was a ruse: we tussle briefly, all beak and claws and wings. Surprising for something so small really. In the end I come out on top and here we are." He finishes recounting his adventure by handing over the Whisper-creature to Ria. "Gonna be cleaning muck out of my scales for weeks though." he laments half-seriously. He peruses the item list for a few minutes, rubbing his chin with his spare claw. It's nice to see someone treating his scanner buddies with respect. He's still going to isntall those defense system though. "I hope this contract sees you well." There have been reports of strange skritching sounds around the station for the past several days. Some dragons say they've seen odd patches of darkness in corners where there should be none. One particularly imaginative youngster claims to have seen the Baba Yaga roaming the halls late one dimly lit station-night. But rumors are rumors, and so far nothing concrete has come of it. Tonight there are odd noises in the walls of the Bounty Office. Rats? Surely not. Suddenly there is a flat slapping sound from the direction of the scanner device, which beeps, processing and returning *[b]25[/b]* The room has a tense watched feeling. He wasn’t one to turn off a potential repeating customer. Once done, he glanced at the cathedral’s doors. “So uh, you first?”

There is no flair, there is no warmth to the action. While Solaire knows deep down the intruder is not the one who came before, their mannerisms set his systems flaring. The rumors had him chasing video feed for days until they could confirm, in fact, that the station was not being invaded once again. It was not a pleasant experiance.
