[gestures vaguely at most of lair] We have a big military but that means a lot of work has to go into maintaining everything. Even members of the family in charge can have somewhat mundane jobs; one of the leaders' sons works a very stressful desk job trying to help run everything. The most mundane jobs tend to be the most important, but I have a few that are of variable value. I'm not really sure what constitutes "mundane" but here's my crack at it.
Sav makes clothes. His real love is stage costumes and things relating to the arts and theatre, though. Some may enjoy watching someone enthusiastic go at it with pins and fabric while others may find it boring. He's a bit overdramatic, so at least those in the latter category may still get some entertainment from his hijinks. Ever is his heart torn between the classy and the flashy. If you ask him to make something that is both, he will be delighted.
Hamlan runs a little noodle shop that offers other things, like soups and tea. He's taken in an adopted daughter, Shiru, and she helps him run it now since it's expanded to have a few actual tables now instead of it just being a food bar. From sun up to sun down, everything goes into making the place work. No battlefield glory in it, but a lot of tasty food.
Tanika is one of the dragons that makes and marks roads/paths in the clan's territory. Not everyone can fly, and many times you kinda just can't and have to travel by land anyway. It's good exercise and she knows the area better than anyone. Of course this makes her double as a useful scout and informant, but it sounds more exciting than the reality. Mostly it just means someone comes out or sends a letter asking if anything's up. Most times the reply is "no". This season's wild squash are coming in nicely in the hill terraces, though.
Yago is a carpenter and he helps make furniture. All of the clan's fancy desks and dressers have to come from somewhere, and sometimes accidents happen and something incinerated needs replacing. Beautiful wood furniture is a sign of wealth and luxury when you live in a volcano. He's usually being commissioned for something or other, and he gets his choice of wood scrap to chew on.
Dash'n is the resident courier and maildragon. The main one, anyway. He's big, his wings are big, he's a Wind dragon and a very strong flier. It was just kind of meant to be. He used to be quite a little daredevil when he was younger, but he's settled down into a more reasonable and reserved father role for his son. At least at home. In the skies, he's still as silly as ever.
Basengrin tends to the hottest of the Flamecaller's altars. The heat he himself gives off is a bit too dangerous for him to be anywhere else. It's not the most interesting job outside holidays and beseechings and such, but the place needs to be cleaned and the soot swept up, and the slag cracked off the floor if one of the lava floes spit up a wad of molten rock again. It's a living.
Sib's job is literally to talk and look pretty. She's one of the hospitality dragons who talks with important dignitaries and visitors, making them feel at home and entertained and seen to. It requires a wide breadth of knowledge in all sorts of topics and a lot of good propriety so you can do your job properly... and don't accidentally offend someone the leaders are trying to make an alliance with. It's one of those nerve-wracking background jobs that require a ton of work but no one really thinks about.
Haerosa is an apprentice quartermaster, which mostly just means learning and helping move the goods right now. She isn't a Fire dragon, so forgework doesn't come as naturally, but like a lot of Wind dragons she is very good at dealing with the goods and resources, getting good deals, &c. Hard to say if she's move into repairs or mercantilism in the future, but for now she's gaining a fair bit of knowledge and practical experience.
Dalina is one of the clan's bugkeepers. She catches and breeds insects for the larder, and also because she thinks certain ones are super cute. Her field is treated much like the agricultural sector is since she's raising food for everyone, but she would say that she feels less like a farmer or rancher and more like a large-scale caretaker of funny little pets. Ones that can sometimes stink on the regular, like the crickets. Still loves them, though.
