TOPIC | Show me Jail Dragons
my entire clan lore is based on prison. i'll share one from a few tabs
for context, since its all very vague, the warden/scientists are trying to get the two minds of an abe to act as one using an herb concoction. this has only kinda worked twice, but they're still trying on different dragons. for those the herbs didnt work on, their bodies mutate and most are pretty unhappy about the whole ordeal
ajani is the warden. its a bit strange, an arcane dragon running a section of the fortress of ends, but she is brutal and diligent in her work. she seems to know where everything is, all the time, and can intercept anyone at any moment. it's rumored her eyes give her this ability, windows into a universe of possibility

alaska is in my beasts tab, those the warden deems to have been unsuccessful. they attack anyone who gets too close, but not directly. they ask you stay a while with your visit. the room gets colder, and sooner or later, you freeze

spool is in the criminal tab, those that are just arrested. spool was arrested for vandalism and has no idea why he is in a max security prison

my lore follows the perspective of a single abe, there is a tab of their friends who were also caught attempting to help them break free a friend who is trapped in the prison. needle is older and highly protective. not really a mentor, but will do whatever she can to help peregrine (and oriel technically but. oriel doesnt like trouble) stay out of trouble. its difficult, since peregrine is stubborn, but needle will at least try to accompany them

and speaking of peregine (left) and oriel (right), theyre sort of the protagonist here. peregrine wanted to free their friend, rukimini (who is in the beasts tab and not shown here) after hearing something horrible had happened to her. they failed, and were arrested. oriel wanted nothing to do with this, but being stuck with peregrine, is forced to face the consequences too. over being intentionally a nuisance to the guards, as well as attempting to break out, they are sentenced to be executed and currently await that date. it makes peregrine feel more desperate, and oriel feel more hopeless

ShadowEater is an Abberation who’s the product of genetic engineering done by the scientist. The scientist has a bit of a big ego, and wants to find a way to perfect genetic engineering with wyrmwound magic in order to transform himself into what would essentially be a living and fully conscious/sentient Emperor so that he can take down the gods. ShadowEater was originally a pair of identical twins.

The same story is true for NoeThing except the two dragons were unrelated, and so they don’t get along and argue all the time. Both beings have a common hate for the scientist, they’re hostile towards him but can’t coordinate their movements enough to do anything.

Ok I’m not sure what this guy did but it definitely wasn’t something good.
I’m thinking maybe a physical manifestation of a plague, since his parents have so many offsprings, hence his name being the Roman numeral for 144. That was his name when I bought him.

Finally this is Nono/Eggcup.
Nonos are a subspecies/lineage made by gao https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/baz/3113014#post_3113014 and they’re basically tiny abberations. The prompt given when I adopted it was that this one was found trying to break a microwave, so I named it eggcup based off the time my irl microwave almost broke trying to make poached eggcups. They’re in here because not only are they an abber they also have different characteristics bc of the subspecies, but they didn’t do anything wrong. At most they’re a bit of a nuisance and like to make noise and be destructive, but nothing too bad. Mostly in here to not get noise complaints from other dragons. This abby wasn’t genetically mutated bc again subspecies/lineage.
