Bai is not the first friendly emperor they have met, so once determining that the hatchling is not attacking, they approach without much apprehension. They let Bai rummage through their trinkets and choose something to keep.

Farstrider, hurrying along as ever, nearly trips over the strange hatchling. She came to an awkward stop, not quite processing what she was seeing at first. The sight of three heads made her fins flare in alarm- but only for a second. He was just a hatchling after all, and Far couldn't bring herself to despise someone so young. It melted her heart just a bit to see the playful little emperor, and she wished Dusk was near enough to share the tale.
After a moment she lowered herself to the ground, nearly tucking her front paws to her chest like a cat. It was all she could do to get closer to his level. She swung her head back and hooked a string of smoked fish from her bags with her teeth, lowering her head to offer it to the hatchling. She wasn't sure if they actually ate food, but those sunken eyes reminded her more of hunger than death.
"There y'are little one," she cooed, "startled me for a second there. I wish [Url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/4809988]my charge[/url] were nearby, she'd sing ye a pretty lullaby."

i think Llueve here would be fascinated by getting up close and personal with an emperor, since she so often works with things not staying dead (like [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/32022950]Cobre[/url]) but she'd pretty quickly recognize that this is a little kid, too. and she's not great with kids.
