The black is intentional. The gene should still show the dragon, so if it's pure black then that would be an error and we would need you to list what dragon combination is displaying that error.
Note that colors like obsidian and black may not show up as strongly against the dark background. But they should not be pure black.

THus far these are all intentional or part of the gene. Thank you for the reports. We'll be keeping an eye on this, but so far it looks like the gene is doing pretty good in the error department!

is that weird shadow on the coatl M tail suposed to be there? It looks like it's shinier compared to other secondary genes.

What's on earth is going on with Hatchling Ridgeback's leg? One of the legs is just the gene colour effect and isn't consitant with the adult gene's looks?

EmpressLunastra that is normal, the secondary has by design feathers that extends to tail on all genes

Just looks like the accent colors of Pharaoh and Ghost are matching/similar? So it looks like an overlap? Both are light pink.
