Hello, Flight Rising community!
Our development team is hard at work on new content, features, and activities for the coming year ahead. In addition to the fun stuff, we're also focusing on everything we can do to make Flight Rising a safe place to play. Specifically, taking steps to help you secure your account to the best of your ability.
In the coming days, we will be implementing some new security measures that aim to further safeguard player accounts from being compromised (sometimes referred to as "hacked" or "raided"). In most cases, account compromises are the result of using a weak password, or re-using the same password on a third-party site which experiences a breach. While no method is entirely watertight in today's digital landscape, we feel it will be another good step in the right direction.
The new measures aim to more precisely detect suspicious login activity, and add an extra layer of authentication to the login process if an anomaly is found. The important thing to know is that this particular measure relies upon the email address registered to your account.
We have to stress this again: the email address attached to your account should be valid, secure, and active. It is the most important conduit you have for getting account assistance from our support team. Using temporary or throwaway email services will prevent us from providing you account help in the future. If you value your Flight Rising account, take the time now before these changes are deployed to make sure your registered email address is updated, secure, and accessible to you.
These measures are not opt-in, and will apply to all accounts on Flight Rising, so we urge everyone to take the following steps in the next few days:
Thank you!

- If your registered email address is invalid, change it to one that is.

- Change your Flight Rising password to something complex, secure, and not one you use for other accounts or services.
