Apparently AVEL's heard the word about that beast threatening the Plateau. Met up with a squad of their finest. We were all fine, of course, they just politely stopped us and politely asked us what we were doing while aiming their weapons at our faces. Nothing special. Apparently they got the same orders from their higher ups to take it down, and now we're allied or something.
One of them caught sight of a weird Noc lady. We tried to flag them down, see who they were and who they're with and all, but they just didn't stop. Certainly weird, but not my problem.
Other than that, though, it's been weirdly quiet. No Andora ambushing us, no earthquakes, nothing. Maybe those AVEL goons are scaring everything off? lol
Speaking of the Andora, it seems like it's taking a back seat in favor of whatever this "Amber Solstice" is. Pretty good, amirite? You don't have to deal with those things all that much, at least. Other people have probably been beating us to the punch when it comes to our "main directive".
...of course, there's the "Amber Solstice", but... child's play for YA BOY. I'm sure we'll get this all done and dusted by the week's end, then we can go back to being marginally okay with AVEL and things can settle down.

Their main job is to identify, root out, and eradicate any signs of necromancy, but other dark magics are not unknown to them. They'd be the one watching out for any signs of mimics and using their prowess in both offensive magic and battlefield healing to support the team.

Absinthe is the commander of the militia, and she takes her job seriously. While her size and experience make her a formidable opponent, it's her on-the-fly thinking and tactical mind that make her the perfect dragon to lead whether it's an onslaught or a silent scouting mission. She'd be there to make sure everyone and everything is in it's place, and to efficiently deal with anything that's not.

In a hidden portion of a large clan space found in the Starwood Strand, a trio of nocturne prepare for a Mimic Operandi. As silent as a still night and darker than the shadows bound by their dear Shadow Mother, it's the Shadow Triad in all their quiet glory! They may not be the most seasoned of compared to other Mimic Fighters you may see, but they certainly know what they're doing and their way around a Mimic. It becomes easier the more tamed Mimics that eventually find themselves at home in the LunarCrest portion of the Strand. (Not something that was their idea, one of the newer nocturne, Fen, was responsible for it.)

Despite being rather chaotic at the start, the resident Alchemist- Smoke- is rather insistent that their ability to quickly get the hang of things and impulsive decisions leading to new, and sometimes questionable, advances to LunarCrest's potion making would make them a gem of an apprentice. Not that unfortunate for her, Cherub swore loyalty to their siblings long before they met.[/right]

It is less good, however, when on of these "landmarks" turns out to be a Mimic itself.[/right]

Guess it goes to show how deeply this franchise has its fingers into my thoughts and subconscious at all times.[/left]
