It seems likely this has something to do with the first four and Ancient Breeds... But we know those are coming... So could it possibly be something else??

Don't know if anyone's suggested this yet, but what if this is part of some sort of prison for the ancient breeds? The scratched out rune could be the one that was freed...by something...
Makes me wonder if it ties in with what those archaeologists found in the BotE lore.
