My favorite games are things in the World of Warcraft, Harvest Moon, Minecraft and "pet" games. I love multiplayer, open worlds, farming, and building up things or being creative. With single player it is usually being creative or strategic with my farms or making those Bells, but multiplayer I love working together!

Some people think VR and what-not will take over, HOWEVER, a lot of people seem to get sick or have issues with it. I think and hope that more games like WoW will become "pay once", and games like Stardew and Harvest Moon will become more like Minecraft and multiplayer... We have plenty of first person shooters but the farming and crafting games are not as popular but seem to be becoming searched for.

like some other people here have said, i think a lot of games are taking a multiplayer direction right now. like for example fallout 76 having multiplayer elements instead of being solely single player, like previous fallout games. there still seems to be some focus on VR but i feel like it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. so we'll probably keep seeing more multiplayer games (specifically fps like call of duty and fortnite) until eventually people get tired of the same formula over and over again and will want singleplayer games again.
