As much fun as Minerva was having, even she couldn't ignore the sudden rumbling of the ceiling....and then gazing up to see that it was literally approaching the floor to crush all in the room. "Hm? Oh? O-oohh...well, looks like our time for chatting is up. I think I'll take my leave. Unless you all wanna become red and crunchy pancakes, I think you should get moving. Or don't. Less problems for me at least.~" Now the question is... 'Where?'
Her answer partially answered, two doors appeared and with different symbols on them to boot. She spotted a few move towards the one with a serpent above it. Minerva however, had different plans. She headed south to the door with an hourglass. Maybe it was something time-based. Or maybe it involved sand? Who knows. With all due speed, she sprinted through the south door, noticing that she was the first one through. She wondered who would end up tagging along with her...

Khione glanced back and forth between the serpent and the hourglass, the words of ancient spells echoing in her head. Not that they would particularly help at the moment, but she knew so many that she tended to get them stuck in her head just as other dragons might be stuck with a song.
Creature of scales and fangs and night
Art thou bitter, that the gods left you wingless?
Rise for me and let thy venom run like water
And by my command, my heart shall be yours~
An old spell for summoning a serpent familiar, somewhat outdated, but one she had never forgotten. Did the serpent door contain actual snakes? Perhaps, but she felt that would be a little too obvious. The hourglass intrigued her more.
Though time stops for no living thing,
I gaze into the realm of death.
For the sake of those whom I wouldst save,
May the the pendulum swing no more.
A time-stopping spell that unfortunately only lasted a few seconds when she had last tried it. She had always found it beautiful, though, so it had stuck in her memory. The first thing that came to her mind at the sight of an hourglass was time, though it also could refer to sand or the glass itself.
Either way, there were sure to be dangers in each direction. However, given that she deemed an hourglass less of a threat than a snake, she eventually slipped down the hourglass hallway, her form quickly becoming hidden in shadow.

((Hey all! I'm gonna have to drop out of this, I'm just too tired to do as many RPs as I've taken on recently. ;; Sorry, but luckily my boy only talked to one person, heh.))

As the walls started to close in Gabby had to make a choice - and fast. She jogged - or waddled on three feet over to the entrance ways and there symbols, eyeing both carefully. A snake and an hourglass, yeah right the choice was already made for her, the hourglass.
Gabriella was no goddess of magic - as proven with her little stunt back there but if this room had something to do with time and space she definitely would have the upper hand and with that she made her in quickly, not looking back as she entered the hourglass area.
As she made her way in ashe was finally able to get a better look at her wound that she wasn't busy worrying about dying... It wasn't looking in the best condition if she was brutally honest with herself but hey... All wounds healed, well, at least if you where a magical dragon who drank magical water...
Gabriella spent no time in ripping cloth from her mantle as she began wrapping her sore arm with a now makeshift bandage... At least she could stand on it now...
"Could be worse Gabby... Could be worse..." She muttered to herself as her tail coiled around herself.

Crests flared in the face of danger, Mekhar otherwise held his composure and used his spare seconds to watch the other participants. They were even in their choices, trusting their instincts on which door held the key to survival. He himself had a particular inclination towards the symbol of the serpent, but he loathed to give away such a personal vanity so soon, and the serpent's symbol seemed to be closer linked to direct danger. An hourglass, something time-based most likely, sounded like more of a puzzle than an outright battle.
He hadn't seen enough of the others to decide who to keep closer eyes on. No time for regrets over that now. It tickled him, not choosing the serpent's path, but he slunk beneath the arch of the hourglass without a backwards glance.

With a politely false smile, Somnus had listened. And listened. To be quite honest, the conversation had grown far too tense to be enjoyable, especially when the other mirror began mocking the coatl with a few more pairs of eyes than he deemed necessary.
Honestly, four is a perfectly fine number.
With the other mirror focused elsewhere, he decided now would be a perfect time to slip away-

That was right. He couldn't go invisible without alerting two of the others. What a waste of an enchantment. Gladekeeper knows he couldn't trust an-
Rumble, rumble.
For a moment, Somnus stood stock still. As the roof of their prison descended, he watched the fountain collapse, sending rubble and dust cascading downwards with each shudder of the ceiling.
As he turned his head to watch a blue Fae make a dash for the serpent door, motion near the opposite wall caught his eye. It appeared that the chatty mirror and the icy skydancer were running for the hourglass door.
The ice witch's magic could be useful. And that other mirror seemed to have been a mercenary as well. She may have also mentioned being a worshiper of the Shade, but he'd take that rather than take risks with the more unfamiliar dragons.
He darted into the corridor, skidding to a stop next to the injured pearlcatcher. Her arm was bound in what he assumed was a piece of her mantle, the dragoness muttering softly to herself.
"Are you all right?"
Somnus gave a quick glance back into the main room, warily scanning the dragons that hadn't made their choice yet. The mirror's eyes flicked back to the other dragons.
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

((No problem, Mypilot! Best of luck to you. As your character has dropped out, they will count as having died by the falling roof, if you don't mind.))

Contrast stared lazily at the descending ceiling. The serpent, or the hourglass. The serpent seemed the obvious choice, it looked cooler, felt more powerful. So he did the opposite and wandered over to the hourglass. Time, puzzles maybe. You know, he could take a break from all the killing for a wee while...
Unless it called for it.

Gabby blinked a little before she realised she had more company and that he was directly speaking to her at one point. Gabriella stopped messing with her hurt claw and looked up at Somnus with a "soft" smile, giving nervous laughter.
"O-Oh I'm okay... Just a stupid burn.. Heh... Just today really hasn't been my today, today..." She shyly giggled as she stretched her wings a bit, blowing loose bit if her hair out of her face. "I'm uh.... Gabriella by the way...! Aha.. Gabby just works to.." She said anxiously, while mainly addressing Somnus, it might as well of been for the other two.
Geez wizz it was hard work acting like your not a terrible person.

As Kraken passed through the serpent door, he noticed only one had followed him. I don't know if that's good or bad, he admitted to himself. On one hand, he had only one ally, but on the other he had a significantly lower chance of betrayal. These were criminals after all; couldn't trust anyone. He personally wondered why so many people were attracted to the hourglass.
Perhaps they think it's a puzzle, he mused. Rather than a direct battle. I could go for either, seeing I'm adapted to battle, despite my size. I personally think the hourglass symbolizes the end of time for you. Death. He nodded to the dragon who joined him in his quest to pursue the serpent. "What brings you to this lovely arch today?" He asked sarcastically as he took a few steps back from the room with the ceiling issues, just for safety.

Live today. Don’t wait for tomorrow.
