So, I usually just stick to writing and coding - I don't really know what I'm doing, but this was super fun! [i](All gradients are just the coloring, no shading intended, I'd be terrible at it anyway. ><)[/i] [center][b][url=https://cdnw.nickpic.host/olTRRW.png][Image Link!][/url][/b] [img]https://cdnw.nickpic.host/olTRRW.png[/img][/center] I don't really have any name ideas, though here's some random head-canon: [list] - Eggs only hatch with extreme heat. - Most commonly seen during forest fires, when they swarm to absorb the heat from the flames, inadvertently helping quell the blaze. - Favored by fire dragons - or those that often forget to carry a flint. -The leaves unfurl as they grow from hatchlings and eventually gain smoldering edges. - As a defense mechanism, they will lash their leaf-tails, sending embers scattering at the threat. - Eventually, as they grow old, their smoldering scales dim then extinguish, however this doesn't leave them defenseless; they harden into a dark protective layer. Okay I think I am finally ready to post this [center][b][i][u]Primal Cockatrice[/u][/i][/b][/center] [center]This creature is said to have been around since before The Arcanist was born, dwarfing any spiral in length it starts its life in the trees and moves to rivers in its adulthood catching small dragons as it's prey. After several dragons tried to tame these creatures as pets, they've spread from Dragonhome to other territories.
