This little one here is the caretaker of the hatchlings, he spends his time with them, making sure that they stay safe. Even his mate agrees with the clan members that he was a blessing to have here to watch the little ones in the clan.

The Clan is small and new, and there isn't that many adult dragons to take care of all the hatchlings that seemingly taken over the place. Perhaps this is because it seems so tranquil and safe in this small regoin on a cliffs edge. Alchemist, the head dragon and a fae, isn't fond of all the children and pays no mind to them anymore, thus there isn't a real caretaker. But Zephyre, the head male, has quickly picked up on taking care of his own children, and doesn't mind helping the others that run amuck in the clan.
Most of the time they aren't closely watched in any manner, juat made sure that they stay alive and are well fed. Zephyre believes this is the best way to teach children. To let the hatchlings teach themselves by getting themselves out of whatever trouble they've gotten themselves into. This proves to make plenty of injuries amongst the youngest of the clan. This is especially so when Zephyre leaves to keep the clan border safe.
Alexander, the eldest of the group is often seemingly in charge of the little gang of terrors. They all seem to listen to him since he's the eldest. That is, except for Fireheart, or kasai as many of the clan call him, who is an imperial and believes that the pearlcatcher is going to enslave them all. It is likely that Alexander will take Zephyre's place in the future.

Her name is Calcite. She comes from my friend's clan. He gave her to me when he realized he didn't have time to feed his dragons, but she is taken care of now. She is very sweet and big, so she takes care of little hatchlings. She can even tolerate the annoying clan members!
