Now though, I kinda wish I had gone with natury or plague colors.

For my girl here, I started with Violet because I really liked the colour and envisioned a purple dragon. Ivory followed suit because I thought it matched really nicely with what I now realize is the brown undertones in Violet (basic Violet shows the brown along her neck and belly). I think got super lucky with her tert, which is Royal! A near miss XYX. :)
I do sometimes wish I had gone for a more nature-y looking dragon as my progen but *shrugs* That's what Flora, the gen one I hatched on my FR anniversary, is for. :P

When I first joined this site I had really bad insomnia and would log on sporadically at 4am to feed my dragons. I picked my progen's colours as seafoam/some sort of purple and I'm blaming that on lack of sleep. She's been scattered a lot..

Walking through a Fairy Circle can make magic happen. It might change the color of a dragon, or change its genes or even its breed. Only the bravest set out to make an intentional trip through a Fairy Circle. Most dragons just step right into them when they are concentrating on something else. Just remember - Magic is Everywhere

Since I was joining Ice Flight, I thought it would be cool to have an Ice-themed dragon, so I picked Ice as the primary. Then, I thought it might be nice to give her a matching colour, so I picked Stonewash. RNG was not following along when it gave her Red, but oh well.

literally, just because Black/Red goes together and i wanted it to be darker... So Blood/Obsidian. The sunshine is a lovely touch tho.

I chose a female White/Pink Fae without even thinking too much about it. It suited the pink eyes from the Arcane flight that I chose on a whim back then.
