Dragon Share

[center][size=2]So, all day I've been debating on buying another egg. I've recently really gotten into an egg buying frenzy, and have been buying eggs left and right for... no real reason HAHA. I've been waiting for the egg prices to fall back to ~200kt, as when I got the inkling I hatch all the eggs were about 230kt. I knew it would be an earth egg, because they were (obviously) the cheapest, so I was just waiting. A few minutes ago I refreshed the AH again, and there it was. A single lone little wind egg, calling my name. I of course snatched it up at 200kt and scampered off to hatch it. I was so ecstatic! He was the first XXY I've ever hatched and a near triple - AND A BOY. I spent the first several days of last years NotN thinking I wasn't going to be lucky enough to find an egg, but then I got one while scavenging. (Later found a second one, too!) Anyway, I'd seen what other people were hatching and didn't want to get my hopes up TOO much for anything specific, but I was sort of imagining a dark, blue-range girl. And that's exactly what I got! Was actually on a thread looking to swap or sell him when I saw someone else looking to get rid of a girl that had extremely close range to him, that would otherwise be exalted, and... well, now they're one of my favorite pairs, and I SPOILED them both with genes. (They got Peregrine right after it came out.) Here's his mate, btw - I didn't hatch her, obviously, but I think she's a real beauty! He actually wound up in @Archive's lair after hopping around a little (and I hope you don't mind the ping!) I was the one who found his egg during NotN and hatched him, and I kept track of him because I wanted to see where he wound up. I first traded him for a female first gen Noc who had colors I could work with better, seeing as Crystal/Facet was the ONLY gene combo I thought he looked good in and knew I'd never be able to make him shine the way someone else could. I'm SO GLAD he got gened the way he did, and I'm proud to see him well cared for. :) He was also a pretty lucky hatch, one off XYX!

What a gorgeous boy! I probably only got really lucky twice. One of them was an XYY Rose/Midnight/Midnight with ice eyes boy I hatched and that I ended up selling and also this girl that I scattered I think? She'd be 100% perfect to me. I also hatched/scattered all of my gen one nocturnes I have except the second boy. I'm hoping these new colours come out soon so I can hatch again, I've never held onto unhatched eggs this long.

@Cassichu Wow! He is so pretty! You have a lot of luck with hatches. He seems to like carmine though as his tert is now carmine.

Here's a lucky (in my opinion) hatch for an Earth dragon. He's so earthy, I was so happy with the hatch. Not a big fan of anything but glimmer and underbelly, so I've been holding off. My latest hatch is this lovely, originally hatched as a guardian but I finally raised enough gems to buy a coatl scroll today.
