Im a newbie to the game (loving it so far) but I am struggling a little right now, I have produced a dragon and one has managed to join my clan freely.
I am wondering how do I obtain other dragons other than the obvious breeding (I cant find an auction that sells any or any newbie threads for this)
Any help at all would be much appreciated :)

Welcome :)
I believe there are 4 ways to obtain dragons
1. Breeding, as you already figured out
2. Buy them at the Auction House (then click on 'Realm-Wide Auctions' or you flight-of-choice Auctions, and select 'dragons' at the top bar)
3. Find or buy an Unhatched Egg (you can find these while 'Scavenging' at the 'Gather Items' tab or when fighting in the Coliseum)
4. Get them from other players, like the '
Raffles & Giveaways'.
I hope this clears things up a bit for you! If not, or if you have any others questions you can get my attention by 'pinging' me, by using a @ and my username (like I did at the beginning of this post)

( You can change it after you get more dragons) When I first started ( March) I asked for help as well, and a very nice person told me that on forums there are actually people who give out dragons/familiars ( you can pair them with dragons) for newbies. I actually got different dragons from the giveaways! There are a lot of other things like the game part of the forums, the coliseum, the fairgrounds, etc, but feel free to message me about that! ( If you want to message me just click on my profile pic, and under my friends just click the message button.) You might want to start on clicking the which waystone which I use a lot ! But it's basically guiding you on how to do things. Just click on the left side and look under library. I got tons more to tell you about, but I seem like I am dragging on.

Yeah, people everywhere will give you dragons for free or for cheap if you know where to look, and there are tons of hatcheries around here. Plus, just asking around might get you some for free. Heck, I have a nest about to hatch tomorrow anyway, you want any?

Asylumbat yeah I think I may be similar to you on this one, seems quite an additive game and the Dragons are awesome, still getting to grips with everything but slowly getting there with the help from others. In regards to your offer of a dragon for free that would be amazing and I am happy with whatever you wish to offer me. Thanks so much
