@Cery05 hi cery, nice to meet you! What Harry Potter house are you in? (when I was an edgy 13-year-old, I self-assigned myself a Slytherin because 1) green is my favorite color and 2) I was definitely in love with Tom Felton; after multiple quizzes and Pottermore sortings, I've been deemed a 50/50 Slytherin/Gryffindor split. I still rep my green and silver, though.)

@alienjack
I'm a Slytherin haha. At first, I was absolutely sure I was a Gryffindor because they are cool, but Pottermore and other quizzes say 90/10 Slytherin/Ravenclaw. Green and silver rock :)

@Cery05 yay, housemates! haha
The first time I took the Pottermore quiz, back when it was one of those interactive game sites, I got Hufflepuff and was in so much shock that I just.... quit. Some of my best friends are 'Puffs, but I was like, "Me? Since when?"
So yeah, green and silver forever, haha! (I wish there had been a bit more diversity in the series with Slytherins, though. Like, at the Battle of Hogwarts, did they just hivemind or something??? Every single Slytherin stuck down in the dungeons because one girl said "yeah let's hand over Harry Potter"???? And the injustice of multiple years of Dumbledore stealing the house cup from under them! Although I guess we have to root for our heroes, and Snape certainly didn't do the House any favors :/ )

I saw you on the NaNo raffle thread and saw you were trying to make 500 friends! I'll be happy to send you a request :)

I am new to FR but have quickly come to love the community. I am a writer and video game enthusiast. I too love Harry Potter! I am a Hufflepuff :)

@alienjack Yes! I joined the NaNoWriMo discord today. I am doing well with writing. About 800 words away from my daily goal for today. I am a ML for my region so I try to stay on task. :D How is it going for you thus far?

@alienjack does a reward incentive help? Sometimes I will get myself to write by saying, "write for 15 minutes" and then you can watch a YouTube video.

If starting is the hardest part what I try to do is set such ridiculously easy goals for myself that I feel foolish for saying no. For example, "just write 10 words." And usually once I start in on that goal I can keep the momentum going.

Lastly, have you tried standing and writing? If you can make a pile of things to rest a computer to notebook on and standing, that might help you focus as well? Good luck! I'm cheering for you here and on the Discord :)
