I'm starting this thread because I have a lot of gems and I need treasure, but there are a lot of gem selling threads already so I thought I would try something different that may be useful! :3 I have a gem selling thread, too.

Aren't you losing money by selling through the AH?
The AH knocks 1% off every purchase. So yes, I'm losing a little bit, but not much. While you're buying for 1:700, I'm basically only getting 1:693.

Can I buy through PM instead of the AH?
Sure! I'll even give you a rate of 1:695, since you're saving me moneys. Please let me know in your post if you’d like to trade this way. And please note that you'll need to send the treasure before I send the items.

Why don't you just list items in the AH?
Basically, I don't want to mess with the economy! There are a lot of people trying to make a profit on items on the AH who would be super bummed if someone just started undercutting them by listing items at no profit. This way, the items are in the AH for the smallest amount of time possible, so I'm not cutting in on the market.

What do you mean "no profit"?
I could just sell these items at whatever the current AH price is. In fact, I *do* do that sometimes, because I like making moneys! But on this thread, I am basically trying to just straight exchange my gems for treasure.
Basically, I could sell a Coatl scroll for 1.5 million if I tried hard enough, but on this thread I will sell it for 1.4 million, which is exactly what it would cost in gems at a rate of 1:700.
