How do I preview a skin (festival skin Opalesque) on a dragon if the dragon is a hatchling? Could I use a scry?
How do I preview a skin (festival skin Opalesque) on a dragon if the dragon is a hatchling? Could I use a scry?
@purplecinnibar There's no real easy way to do it. You can't use a scried dragon for a skin/accent preview unless you have a transparent version of the skin/accent and an image editing program where you can layer them.

One thing you can do is to use the dragon search to find an adult dragon in identical colours and genes, and then use the following link to see a preview:
http://flightrising.com/image_generators/skins_preview.php?i=xxx&d=xxx
The xxx next to the i is the ID number of the skin, which shows up at the top of the skin preview window. The xxx next to the d is the ID number of the dragon you're using. A complete link for you might look a little something like this:
http://flightrising.com/image_generators/skins_preview.php?i=14684&d=696124

You can click the link to see the preview of the dragon wearing the skin (which looks lovely, by the way) but it won't work in img tags. So you'll have to either direct the buyer to click the link for a preview, or else save the resulting image and upload it somewhere else (photobucket, tinypic, imgur... any image host, really).
