I think the most obscure books I have on hand are a pair of Soul Edge tie-in light novels, both in Japanese. The illustrations kind of live rent-free in my head since they're in a 90s shoujo style. Can you believe I'm describing something about a fighting game? (If you could see my notes for my translation, you'll have seen how far I can go for the details... I need to get back to that.)
Something from my childhood: The Nine Lives of Romeo Crumb. It's a dark and gritty series about cats that was... kinda sorta lightly urban fantasy? All of the cat characters have nine lives, and that's about as close to Warriors as I remember it getting, as they're a lot more anthropomorphized. I can't say it was an accident that I remember getting into this at some point in my Warrior Cats phase, but I'm lucky to find much of anything about it. I lost track after the fifth book a long time ago. Maybe I'll splurge on the rest now that I've just found out the series is complete. (I remember it having some awful editing later down the line, though.)

Another video game, The Maw. Got it for free on Xbox a long time ago. You're a fun little alien dude who finds this purple blob who absorbs the abilities of what it eats. I forget the storyline but I remember liking it, even if it was a simplistic!

Holy cow! Someone else remembers The Maw! [emoji=tundra happy size=1] I swear someone put the soundtrack on YouTube some years back, but I can only find one track by itself now. At least someone uploaded the whole thing there too.

Pulp Musicals is a real hidden gem. It’s a musical series based on old radio plays. The first episode is on Spotify and I highly recommend it!
If you know who Starkid is, a few people from it are in Pulp’s cast, including Matt Dahan as the writer.

Had realized another thing I barely see spoken of are a couple of games called Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise for the DS and Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise for the Xbox, both I enjoyed playing when I got the chance and I wish I could get the Xbox version again but I can't :')

oooh i remember the Viva Pinata games
i remember playing Viva Pinata: Party Animals specifically
i also remember watching (I.N.K.) Invisible Network of Kids when i was a kid. one of those shows you see on free channels. it doesn't seem to have much of a fanbase online

My rare media would be the Ginga Densetsu series. Typical anime with dogs running around and barking, literal dog stuff. It doesn't seem to be very well known. Thinking back the plot may have been a little boring.
Edit: I remembered its a series and not all the same dog.

i wouldn't say the dogs in ginga do a lot of "literal dog stuff" LOL but yea this one

I LOVE Trouble in Paradise! I still have a copy I picked up a few years ago. It's such a cute game with great music.

The De Blob series for the Wii and also Elebits/Eledees for the Wii. Those were good childhood games. Spent hours on De Blob 2.

Martin Mystery. It's a tv series that I absolutely adored watching as a kid. Pretty sure it's what got me into shows like X-Files and Supernatural.
Honestly not sure how rare this one actually is, but personally, I've never stumbled across anyone talking about it. The Librarians. Sadly it got canceled after 4 seasons.
My favorite character was Ezekiel Jones.

Galaxy Railways. It’s an anime that released in 2003 and is not that well known. The main gifs of it is that there’s trains in space. Yes, trains that are built for Space Travel. It has two seasons and only the first season one has been licensed and dubbed. It’s worth a watch.

The LoZ Four Swords manga! It used to be my all time favorite thing to read repeatedly, and I still think back on it fondly.

I’ve had a Legend of Zelda obsession for sometime (despite never being able to play the games yet), I’ve actually heard of that manga before! It’s very, very rare I’ve ever found it to be mentioned, so I’m really glad you enjoyed reading that so much!
