(Wiped out the other half of the group's name, can't say that here lol.) I love the love theme from Spartacus so much that I actually have a little playlist just dedicated to different artists’ renditions of it! This one in particular is my favorite though- I can feel the emotions of the players through their instruments; like breathing and tasting a living color. The essence of harmony, love, and peace. When it picks up at 5:14, I could lose myself to the sound and I wish it would never end. I know some people just hear jazz as sound, but when you close your eyes and surrender to it, it can become so much more.

I was going to add something more peppy today, but it’s raining here and I’m feeling rather mellowed out, so Sibylle Baier it is. It’s gentle, but rather haunting; the slightly imperfect recording just adds to the feeling. Listless wandering, searching for a forgotten memory in the haze of one’s mind, heavy fog rolling in from the lake and settling over the pines, sinking into the quiet midmorning.

One of those songs I accidentally end up looping for hours when concentrating on a project. I love when today's artists are able to recapture the vibes of the past and bring them into the spotlight again. I definitely recommend checking out some of their other songs!
