@PrimReaperrr I've only recently started getting into DC (primarily Batman) since discovering Best Boy & Best Former Robin Jason Todd. I just love the angry hurt boys of fiction. He's kept safe in my pocket next to Zuko from ATLA and Mark from Invincible.
I don't think I'll ever collect physical media. There is just so much, and I feel like I'd just be starting centuries too late to ever feel fullfilled. I am however an avid reader of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures, and rather than interacting much with canon of dubious quality/enjoyability (some storylines I've glimpsed are just wack in convoluted non-good ways), I mostly just read banger fanfic and imagine stories in my own head.
Like Jason meeting Zuko through inter-universe travel (handwaved away as "Spirit-walking"), or Jason (from the Hush!Robin DITF movie alternate ending) adopting Damian to keep the kid out of Bruce's life for initially grim reasons but then actually becoming the most doting dad uwu, or Jason becoming a Blue Lantern, or Jasons of nearly all Lantern colours meeting and the rest of the spectrum uniting against an immensely powerful Orange!Lantern Jason (design: yoinked from the crazy and OOC "Battle for the Cowl" Batman!Jason) who killed all of 'his' Gotham's Rogues AND other vigilantes and made trophies of their outfits.
I just like Jason a lot.

Haha, Jason is *so* awesome! He’s one of my favorite characters, though I have to admit Grayson is my favorite ever. He is a really great and intriguing character, who definitely deserves more than being kicked around by writers in the modern era (Battle For The Cowl…. Though his suit was pretty cool). Under the Red Hood is a great book, too. I wish Jason had his own solo series, Red Hood and the Outlaws (RHATO) only being the closest we’ve gotten. I really enjoyed RHATO’s Rebirth run, he looks great in Dexter Soy’s art and the story isn’t polluted by bad character writing and that horrible mask (The one with the nose and mouth) like the New 52 version is. Jason really doesn’t have a lot, but most of it is pretty good, so it wouldn’t be difficult to collect at all (Just avoid the New 52 RHATO series and Red Hood/Arsenal).
P.S. WFA is such a gift to Batman fans like me who just want to see something wholesome for once. It’s great to see the characters I love getting the appreciation they deserve.

I’m an DC comics fan first and a human second. Looove Batman and black label comics- I love to see Constantine and Zatanna show up- but my current and all time favorite would be Azrael/Jean-Paul Valley. There’s so much character depth there, the comics are super interesting to me, he ticks all the boxes in terms of character traits of characters I insta-love, and I can’t help but like him despite everybody hating him after the whole AzBat thing. Plus the fact that he has relationships to members of the Batfam (like being a kind of brother to Cass Cain/Orphan and hanging out/teaming up with Luke Fox/Batwing and Kate Kane/Batwoman sometimes) which is cool.
On that note, I’m forever collecting Azrael stuff, despite him kind of fading off into obscurity for a while after the 90’s. Really excited for the new stuff this fall- I hope they do him justice.

I'm a DC and Marvel comics fan! Right now I'm maining X-Men, but I've been known to collect Doom Patrol comics. I'm also pretty big into Flash properties--my favorite character of all time will probably be Thad Thawne II, AKA Inertia, who I'm breeding a fandragon for right now! :D
As for Batman specifically, my favorites are probably Damian Wayne and Duke Thomas. Bat-comics aren't really my vibe, but I adore those two.

Nice! I’ve seen some of the Doom Patrol show but only own a few comics that they cameo in, so I would really appreciate some recs!
I’m not super into Flash stuff, but I love Wally West and Bart Allen/Impulse is one of my favorite characters ever. He’s so adorable, Ive been working on getting his solo series.

There's honestly not a lot of DP comics so it would be relatively easy to just read them all in publication order. However, I can totally get not doing that, because I haven't done that.
My DP recommendations are Gerard Way's 2016 run (not their second run, the 2016 one) as an introduction, because it's kind of a soft reboot, and then Grant Morrison's run starting from issue 19 (IIRC) of Vol. 2. Rachel Pollack took over after Morrison left and her run is my absolute favorite of any Doom Patrol comic, so you should definitely read that, too.
I'm also, personally, a big fan of the Silver Age Doom Patrol comics, but they're not technically necessary, just fun. You get some really fun Beast Boy backstory, if you're into that, but the tone's pretty different from subsequent DP comics, including Waid's World's Finest series right now that's set in the same era. If you like lighthearted Silver Age comics, you should totally read Silver Age DP! If you don't, like I said, it's totally skippable.
