Try and lure it lower and then try to climb the other side.
If that doesn't work you can try and lure it over the abyss and smack it with a rock.

Honestly, not really.
I'd recommend it keeping simple since the game's whole style is pretty simple.
I have like five slugcat ocs so I don't know much.
