So my special interests are cartoons/animation, animals, and fandoms. Pretty common aspie spins. (And yes, unfortunately, I am a furry.)
Now, my main special fandom interest is Shane Acker’s 9, but if you know who I am, you’ll know that I’ve gotten myself into a sticky situation due to my extremely toxic attitude. The most recent drama combined with being isolated seemed to be my wake-up call to actually try to change myself. For real this time. Long story short, I’m trying to do a bit of social media detox, stay away from toxic influence, and most of all, try to be kind and love myself again. The 7cups website is helping a lot, and the people there taught me what real kindness looks like, and even made me realize that maybe other people in my situation who seemed like the “good guys” fighting the “evil monsters” (me and another person) were a little toxic, too. Not everything is black and white, heroes and villains.
EGH, sorry for rambling about my past and how much of a massive failure I am.. it’s just that because this piece of crap never learned how to talk to people and manage their emotions properly that they can’t talk about 9, their second biggest fandom/spin, at all anymore.

Incredibly hype :3333 I'm particularly interested in learning dog breeds - I grew up rereading a book I had that just listed them over and over, and love to learn about new breeds. I learned about Black Russian Terriers recently and, as if by magic, met one in person the very next day!

I have Asperger's. I have lots of secondary special interests, but I really only have three main special interests that truly define who I am. Meaning, if you don't know about my interest in these three, then you don't really know me.
They are science, I Love Lucy, and Cedar Point/roller coasters.
With science, I love pretty much all science, but I have always been particularly drawn to anatomy/physiology and medical science. I have a bachelor's in neuroscience, and my main interest there is in the biochemical basis of neuropsychiatric disorders, particularly bipolar mania and psychosis. Another area of medicine that I'm very interested in is obstetrics. While my special interest in neuroscience and mental illness didn't fully begin until age 15, I've been interested in obstetrics since about age 3. I miss Discovery Health Channel on Dish, because Babies: Special Delivery was a great show about high-risk obstetrics.
