That and the cancellation of Silent Hills is something I - and many others - will never forgive Konami for.

When I heard that there was SOMETHING in the works, I was elated. But then it turns out to be a SLOT MACHINE? NGL, the things that came out of my mouth are things that would get me smacked with the banhammer if I typed them up here.

Unpopular opinion: The Arcade shooter spin off was nice and an interesting take

Commentary can be good sometimes, but honestly, if you really want to get into the game, non-commentary is better. Instant love, even if we didn't get very far. Sadly, next time we went, it was gone and I haven't seen it since. Especially with him looking more like the movie version. Also, heck YES, SH4 was a good game. It's honestly my favorite of the series...mostly because it was the first one I actually finished and the main character became a bit of an inside joke between me and my friends.

One is probably my favorite (though honestly the first three are classics). I also really liked Shattered Memories? It was less of a game and more of a interactive story AU but... I feel like it captured the "spirit" of the original games versus the others that were published after 4.

Also really looking forward to more Kojima in the future. He said, after the publication of Death Stranding, that he might return to a more Silent Hills-like project (with a different name because Konami refuses to give up the franchise and keeps publishing pachinko games to keep the license). Still. I'd love for a Silent Hill series offshoot because no other games hit the horror mood quite like this one does.

I'm enjoying death stranding: extreme babysitting (I haven't finished the game yet tho so no spoilers plz) so anything he makes after is going to be great (I wonder how much of Silent Hills got incorporated into DS) How would you guys rank the Silent Hill games? 1: sh1 2: sh4 3: sh3 4: sh Downpour 5: sh0 (scariest one for me, tbh, and my mothers favourite) 6: sh2 7: sh Homecoming 8: sh Shattered Memories
