Other than being silly online, most of my time is spent as an ornithology master's student!
@themewtwolady You're a ornithology master's student? That's so cool! I love Aviary, great use of the blossoms!

Idk if this thing is still alive, but anyways, two things:
1-I would love to join! Birds are by far my favorite vertebrates, and i would love to talk about it with people!
2-I live in the 24th floor of a building, and im pretty sure that there are some black-vultures living nearby! They are huge, black, keep on flying in circles (probably to fly with the help of thermals), but the two things that make me think they are black vultures are:
- They have the tip of the wings white

- My father saw one of them landed on the balcony, and he said it was huge, but all black (i think it might be a juvenile? idk)
But idk yet what species it is, so i thought of buying binoculars, but i don't remember seeing the birds in some days... so, should i buy the binoculars or keep on trying to identify them with normal eye?

@SpearTheDemon
Admittedly I have very little experience with birdwatching, but I find trying to follow moving birds while using binoculars very difficult; I think you should keep trying to identify them by eye. Maybe there's a mix of turkey and black vultures there! That would be interesting. I only see turkey vultures here.
