Dragalia lost is a solid free-to-play game. If you're interested in gacha themed games, that is. The concepts are simple: you swipe to dodge, tap to attack, and drag to move. Usually, from my experience, ever since they removed wyrmprints from the summoning pool, I've been able to score 5 stars in every summon. The only real downside is the sheer size this app takes up.

AND HERE IS A QUOTE OF A GAME I ALREADY RECCOMENDED TO SOMEONE.
A game I recommend if you have a tablet is Sdorica, it runs laggy on mobile, but for a good reason. The graphics are amazing, the storylines are well made, and the characters are great! While it is Gacha based, that doesn’t limit play style to a select few characters, rather each character has their own set of unique skills and are compatible with other characters. The game has a brilliant mechanic to it that you don’t see anymore, battles are interesting and strategic but also easy to learn. Also: The Fandom is small, and thus, is made up of dedicated and generally nice people. If you aren’t looking for something like that and are more into the simpler things, might I recommend these other games for mobile. Tsuki adventure: Animal Crossing meets Stardew Valley in a simplistic game of making friends, fishing, and simply being alive and in the moment. Werewolf Tycoon: Sitting behind a park bench is a fuzzy nightmare, you are that nightmare. Watch out for photographers and steal briefcases! The Battlecats: I can’t really explain this one, but imagine someone who ate a tub of glue and has been stuck in a room with cats for a year making a game.
Pokemon Go/Wizards Unite encourage me and my friends to go out for walks together. So I'd say those. Preferably Go.

As for single player games... I'm a sucker for word puzzles so Words with Friends and Wordscapes are both good free ones.

A single player game that's NOT a puzzle is Dragalia Lost, an ARPG about a prince who can turn into a dragon, if he makes a pact with the dragon. The characters, visuals, and gameplay are ALL top notch. Even the gacha elements are much more fair now that they've taken items out of the mix! So my top pick would be Dragalia.

a bit old but, soul knight is a dungeon pixel game, with different levels, classes and weapons. it's pretty simple and gets repetitive after some time, but it's nice, often updated and playing locally with other people is really fun

I reccomend ''Orna'' a bit like pokemon go since you have to move in real life to get around, its quite boring a first but when i got to level 25 i was really into it

I also reccomend minecraft earth when it comes out.

And you should give ''Love Nikki'' a try on play store.
It has quite a nice storyline and sometimes theres interesting events!

I play online games mostly. They are free and I can play them anytime I want, even at work. I found slot games here https://mr.bet/casino/vendors/microgaming with great bonuses for new players.
