I feel a good portion of the industry, mainly large companies like EA, will continue to follow what genre trend is popular at the time. For example, many are currently trying to cash in on the Battle Royale genre thanks to PUBG's success, while first-person military shooters ala Call of Duty were all the rage last console generation

5. Entertainment and escapism, the modern world and adult life expectations are so dull and depressing I think I'd go crazy without games and books.

I hope people will stop having all those prejudices against gamers. Apart from that I can't wait until we get vr stuff like Sword art online did.

Personally, I believe that they will continue to develop and become even more surreal in order to immerse the player and intensify gameplay; which, in my opinion, is a great thing.
