The Neon Judgement are very electronic synth heavy I'm liking their vibe a lot
On other 70s/80s subjects I've become really into Nina Hagen lately. I know her career spans well after but man she's just amazing, the things she can make her voice do... makes me want to get into Diamanda Galás again, she also can do crazy things with her voice
Also Adam Ant is coming in my area in a few months, I might want to go if I have anyone to go with. I know his concerts nowadays often go into his older discography and B-sides which I quite like, I'll have to see about that...

I like to collect vinyl records so some of these bands are ones I have! :-)
The ones that I love are: Heart, Duran Duran, Culture Club, Eurythmics, Cat Stevens, Queen, Foreigner, Def Leppard, and Van Halen!

I don't have specific bands that I'm a major fan of except for Queen, but I do love and enjoy a handful of 70/80s music!! My uncle would play the 80s 90s and more station whenever he's driving or working and usually I tagged along when I was younger so I can thank him for introducing me to some good tunes

Coming back to this thread to say 1978/1979 were the peak years for post-punk and produced some of the greatest albums ever made. Also the I really love the psychedelic revival movement that happened in the 80s and has continued on since.

"Darkness still fell upon the cliff and the horn of the new moon vanished in the end behind the window of the wall as into a long-feared shelter in the Earth rich with the frames humility of God's memory and reflections. The stars in the sky shivered as they crawled once more up the fantastic ladder and into the void of themselves. They wondered whose turn would be next to fall from the sky as the last ghost of the crew had died and they alone were left to frame Christ's tree and home."

In the Flat Field Bauhaus ****
Thank you much for this one I feel like giving them a good listen is long overdue for me
Cabaret Voltaire is flawless I'm only on the one rec you gave me right now but I'm loving it I'm going to have to look up a lot more
I've seen a few of the others around before here and then, but then a lot of them a new to me, so I'm going to have to do some sorting through but a very fun list thank you much

How the hell has nobody mentioned Oingo Boingo yet
I've been slowly getting into new wave, I love the B-52s and found them a few years ago but I discovered Oingo Boingo recently and I'm having one hell of a party
Devo are pretty good as well, from what I've heard of them. I get Cold War stuck in my head sometimes and Whip It is obviously an absolute bop
Other than that though, the rock/metal/punk scenes were really good too. Saw someone mention Butthole Surfers earlier, and Metallica- never got into thrash proper but I do really like Metallica's early albums. But yeah, 80s hardcore was great
Oh, one more. Mother Love Bone
does soundgarden count as 80s
