If you're still torn, the less players choose a village the more rare the materials and costumes for that type will be. Currently Dragon's Maw Manor is the most popular, Oceandome the least popular (think Earth flight eyes, how rare they are because of less Earth players)

I also watched the developer Twitch stream last night by the way. You start with 1 villager and can unlock villager slots with furcoins from what I could see. Once you unlock the slot you can go to the "create a villager" screen again. The first slot costed 500 furcoins, the second one 1500 furcoins. That amount may change over time, but those are my observations! :)

Yep, I'm in. The town art looks amazing, especially Quetzal Palace and Oceandome. I might go for Foxbury, though. Because Steampunk.

I might just have to get one of the werebeast costumes for one of my villagers. Dragon's Maw Manor looks really cool, but alas the royal and steampunk dragons have won my heart.

It should be easier getting werebeast costumes since they're possibly more common. I also heard costumes give job bonuses by the way! :)
