@otherworldlies While you technically can, I very much do not recommend using the same element, especially while learning. Reason being if you come up against an enemy that you're weak to, it will probably delete your whole team. This is because dragons can only use abilities that match their element or are neutral, and early on you don't have high-power options other than your elemental abilities. Most things that are super effective on you will also resist your element, meaning you don't have a good way to damage them while they're free to steamroll you. You can take a peek at the element matchup chart here, from the Element Odds guide: My recommendation would be to find an element or two that work with the builds you want to pursue (either from this guide or another) and use a dragon of that element from the start. Saves you having to either buy or train a new 25 once you have the hang of things! If you're short on treasure to buy new dragons, you can take a look through the fodder I have available and pick out a team, if you'd like (feel free to ignore the price listed in the tab description)! Though it's not hard to find cheap, pretty dragons just on the AH. Hopefully that helps. [emoji=ridgeback laughing size=1]

@otherworldlies No problem! Happy to help. ^^ Personally I learned almost entirely by just diving in face first and figuring it out from there, but guides make that process a lot easier. There's a guide for almost everything and every playstyle, so just try different search terms and you should find something. [emoji=ridgeback laughing size=2]

I think some restructuring of the build posts is in order....
Don't like how it's utterly random which comes first, instead of by level.

Oh boy that'll suck.

I also need to work on Kelp Beds.
Would have been a good idea to do that last week pfpfpfght a+ planning, me.

Is there a guide to giving your dragons stats as you level them? I'm training my team right now but I don't know what stats to give them at each level so that when they're level 25 they will be strong enough

They're out there for sure, but I'm not familiar with any of them unfortunately. It shouldn't be too bad to find some with forum search, and if you're still having problems I can help look later.
And remember: at any point you can refund stat points with a tincture of dissolution, which are just 30kt. It seems like a lot at the start, but with Glimmer and Gloom you can make enough for one and a half on a day.
Don't worry if you put a few points wrong, it's not the end of the world. My builds also assume tincture use; you can probably do some of them without tinctures, but I haven't tested that. ^^

edit; thanks, swagbag!

@otherworldlies i'm using this one https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/1040710#post_1040710

but it uses eliminate and i'm saving for it!!

also if you do the math eliminate cost 350,000t and if you max fairgrounds you get 75,000 t

so 350,000/75,000 = 350/75 =4.67 aprox 5 days of fairgrounds

you can look at these guides. If you train enough you can max the fairgrounds in 30 minutes or less. I still take time but because i have to look and check if i'm right lol

Oh actually, regarding Glimmer and Gloom: I was absolutely lost until I found this guide (it's a youtube link, fair warning).
Now I can do G&G on complete autopilot in roughly 15 minutes.
The one thing I'd add to the guide is that if multiple are "wrong", say A and B, then you have to click the fixes for both of them. It's not explicit about saying that so it's easy to get confused.
Other than that it's an extremely helpful guide. ^^
