DarkSkyTheDemon That's what one of the Banescale unique tertiary genes is called. It's the one you can get from Swipp's swap.
Tertiary Banescale Gene: Squiggle
So, I ran a few tests and here's what I've gotten for the Banescale genes:
103 tests with Tiger(common) vs Marble = 43 Tiger and 60 Marble
103 tests with Stripes(common) vs Mottle = 54 Stripes and 49 Mottle
103 tests with Lace(Uncommon) vs Trimmings = 20 Lace and 83 Trimmings
103 tests with Chevron vs Jaguar(Uncommon) = 52 Chevron and 51 Jaguar
103 tests with Arrow vs Rosette(Uncommon) = 48 Arrow and 55 Rosette
103 tests with Fans vs Contour(Common) = 0 Fans and 103 Contour
103 tests with Chevron(Uncommon?) vs Ragged = 51 Chevron and 52 Ragged
103 tests with Arrow(Uncommon?) vs Tear = 54 Arrow and 49 Tear
103 tests with Candycane Vs Chevron(Uncommon) = 12 Candycane and 91 Chevron
103 tests with Tear vs Arrow(Uncommon?) = 47 Tear and 56 Arrow
Here's what I've concluded with my own testing and rules of parallel genes:
Primary
Tiger, Marble, Laced, Savannah are Common
Cherub, Jaguar, Chevron, and Ragged are Uncommon
Pinstripe, Skink, Poison, Candycane are Limited
Metallic and Petals are Rare
Secondary
Stripes, Mottle, Edged, Safari are Common
Seraph, Rosette, Arrow, Tear are Uncommon
Trail, Spinner, Toxin, Sugarplum are Limited
Alloy and Butterfly are Rare
Tertiary
Trimmings and Contour are Common
Ringlets, Lace, Ghost, Crackle are Uncommon
Squiggle, Skeletal, Porcupine are Limited
Fans, Filigree, Wraith, Plumage are Rare
• It is assumed that the paralleled genes are the same rarity as their originals.
• I'm guessing that Candycane and Sugarplum are Limited due to them being obtained in coli; however, I don't have any other limited genes to test them against since the "known ones" (aka baldwin) have not been put onto any dragons yet.

RARE
metallic/alloy
petals/butterfly
filigree
fans
wraith
plumage
Why? Because they are gem marketplace genes.
LIMITED
pinstripe/trail
poison/toxin
sink/spinner
candycane/sugarplum
skeletal
porcupine
squiggle
Why? Because you need to brew, swap or coli hunt for them.

Need more den tasks and den gem slots. Too many pretty dragons and I'm all maxed out. I have a dragon hoarding problem.
Candycane (Banescale) vs Skink (Banescale) = 50/50 (out of 100)
genes from the same set usually have the same rarity.
so I think Candycane and Sugarplum are limited!
(not all coli genes are limited, Python is uncommon)

This is honestly one of my favorite breeding chart/card makers
1. Is so nice and neat
2. Has every breed xD
3. Is actually updated regularly :3
4. Actually tests gene rarities to make them accurate :333
Idk don’t mind me

Thought I'd test the baldwin genes now there's dragons with them, as well as confirm a couple of the other parallel genes. I previewed 400 offspring for each.
Cherub vs Candycane: 331/69 (82.75%/17.25%)
Seraph vs Sugarplum: 342/58 (85.50%/14.50%)
Poison vs Candycane: 197/203 (49.25%/50.75%)
Toxin vs Sugarplum: 189/211 (47.25%/52.75%)
Skink vs Candycane: 181/219 (45.25%/54.75%)
Spinner vs Sugarplum: 218/182 (54.50%/45.50%)
Jaguar vs Pinstripe: 346/54 (86.50%/13.50%)
Rosette vs Trail: 344/56 (86.00%/14.00%)
Based on these results:
Uncommon: Cherub/Seraph, Jaguar/Rosette
Limited: Candycane/Sugarplum, Poison/Toxin, Skink/Spinner, Pinstripe/Trail
Which fits the assumption of limited Baldwin and coli genes, and of equal rarity parallel genes. Also, I did some chisquared tests just for fun, and they rejected the hypotheses of any rarity ratio other than the ones given by these rarities.

Ran a few more tests on the rest of the banescale non-gem prisecs! 400 children each time again.
Laced vs Chevron: 301/99 (75.25%/24.75%)
Edged vs Arrow: 276/124 (69.00%/31.00%)
Savannah vs Ragged: 302/98 (75.50%/24.50%)
Safari vs Tear: 301/99 (75.25%/24.75%)
Tiger vs Chevron: 303/97 (75.75%/24.25%)
Stripes vs Arrow: 304/96 (76.00%/24.00%)
Laced vs Marble: 195/205 (48.75%/51.25%)
Edged vs Mottle: 208/192 (52.00%/48.00%)
From these results:
Common: Laced/Edged, Tiger/Stripes, Marble/Mottle
Uncommon: Chevron/Arrow, Ragged/Tear
The Edged/Arrow test had a slightly off result for the expected ratio, but the tests against other genes returned the expected results, so I believe that was just a chance result. I might do test some terts tomorrow.

Thank you so much for this chart! As a newbie, knowing what's rare and what's common is rather difficult. I never know if I'm cooing over a common but extra pretty dragon, or something super rare that I should sell at a high price lol

Hi everyone! I've now added in the Banescale chart! You can find it on the first post or the spreadsheet underneath Gaolers!

(if anything is amiss, let me know!)
I'd like to thank the people who have helped in prediction and speculation (FlamingCatz, Lisegathe, and Neflo) as to which genes had which rarities, especially those who contributed test results (Myndris and Snipe)!
Myndris and Snipe, your names have been added to the credit section on the spreadsheet, thanks for thoroughly testing out the new genes and sharing your results! c:
I hope these new rarities help everyone with their breeding endeavors with Banescales! Thank you all for your patience!
