[/quote] Definitely still active! You can do this, but it would be slower and possibly a bit more difficult than if you had 2 Sedonas. Build your mages with INT instead of STR, but otherwise assign the QCK and VIT the same. I tend to put my mages before my fighters, but with two, you can probably fair well with your Sedona in the middle. Still, I would recommend having only one mage. With one mage (first slot) and one Sedona (second slot) being leveled side by side, you can also level fodder and make money that way, even from level 1!

Starting isn't expensive at all, especially if you supplement with treasure from the fairgrounds, and from selling loot that you get while grinding. The most expensive method is using Eliminates. When it comes to leveling Sedonas and mages, they tend to get their stones from the coliseum itself. The stones drop more frequently than eliminates do. And if you level and exalt fodder alongside your dragons that you level, you make money much more quickly in order to buy stones that don't drop as readily.

All you need to start (aside from your 2 dragons of choice, one for a mage and one for a sedona) is just enough treasure for one fodder dragon. You can easily get that in a few minutes in the fairgrounds. When you exalt them at about level 6 or so, you just reinvest that money into buying another fodder dragon. Rinse and repeat! The team you level pays for itself that way.

As for renting level 25s, those tend to be very cheap per day, especially if you check your flight specific dominance forums.

Exalting isn't sacrificing in lore. Its a blessing as the dragons are going to serve their deities. It also helps the servers as it clears out excess dragons and maintains space for the game. The money you get from exalting is very good for the brief time you put into it. Literally minutes for several thousand treasure once your dragons are high enough level. There are many dragons specifically bred for exalting, as they don't have pleasant colors or genes. There are charts that show how much money you get for each level.

You can also just sell the loot you get from grinding, but that is slower and less reliable as a form of income when you start out. The fairgrounds are better in that case, but they have a limit of 75k per day. Still, thats over half a million treasure a week.

I mention in the guide that I don't show mage stats because there are various mage builds. I mention above in my previous comment to simply build a mage with the stats in INT instead of STR as you level your dragons. So, where you would put points into a dragon's STR, just put them into INT for a mage.

As for renting, you can also ask to rent a dragon in the item sales forum.

thanks! this guide is actually super helpful! im currently leveling 2 sedona fighters with both of the builds (Serpent and Sharos) and 1 mage (Hinano) and this makes it far cheaper and easier to get money for elims ;P
