A tiny update to the maximum number of dragons each player can have with a fully expanded lair and den; two new slot purchases raises the cap from 605 to 615!
I wanted to do some fun math for this, so... based on a total of 500k registered accounts as of this posting (it's actually slightly more but idk exactly how many and I'm lazy) the recent expansion update allows for up to 5 million more active dragons throughout the game!
It's easier than ever to collect dragons... but lair expansions aren't getting any cheaper!

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation - I'm new and was thoroughly confused as to what exaltation was and meant, so this was extremely useful :D

If we exalt dragons then change flights in the same week, do those dragons attribute to the dominance of our old flight or the one we just moved to?
They would be attributed to the flight that you are currently in at the time that dominance is calculated for that week (saturday night.)
I learned something today! I didn't know this, and would have thought it the other way around if I'd had to make a guess. But it makes a certain sense.
Think of it as selling your dragon back to the game the same way you might autosell items directly from your Hoard.
This is a fantastic guide! Very well-written and I love the tone of it.
I had a hard time exalting dragons when I first started playing, like a lot of people. And I read the forums to see what other people thought about it. Then I wanted to get more involved with my Flight, so I did a Dom battle, but I still had misgivings.
It's taken me years to get comfy with exalting, and five years into the game, I read this one sentence and it makes all the difference to me.
This is the sentence I wish I had read all those years ago..."think of it as selling your dragon back to the game..."!! :D
Thank you for the guide; it is most excellent!

Cynictis This is a great summary and explanation of exalting. The design of the page is also pretty and easy to read. I'll make one of my dragons link back to this page. Thank you!

Need more den tasks and den gem slots. Too many pretty dragons and I'm all maxed out. I have a dragon hoarding problem.
That was very helpful! Thanks!
