TOPIC | Accent Shop Tutorial
@Monako
Thanks for replying! Unfortunately these stock photos are not meant to be used for commercial purposes, so I won't be submitting them. In any case, I just wanna clarify some things for future possible uploads! :D

These are the accents I have saved as well as their preview on base. If I were to submit, would I submit those on the bottom row, as clearly the first row didn't quite make the cut. Or do I submit only the wings with shadow and lines without the base?

@Fireworks You won't want to have the base with the actual submission. Your finished accent should look something like this.

And this is an example of the same accent I made on a dragon.
So basically yes, you just want the wing. But you literally want just the accent and none of the grey area. http://www1.flightrising.com/wiki/skins/3
On step 4 of the tutorial it tells you how to save the accent, line and shadow layers together without the actual base. Basically resize it to the right size then turn off the base layers and merge all the accent layers including the shadows and shading only on the accent layers.
I hope that's not to confusing!

@Monako Sorry if I ask too many questions! Haha. I'm not able to save the lines without the base lines tho, this is how it'll look after I merge all visible layer to a new layer...

Should I manually delete the lines not related to the wing?

@Fireworks It would probably be best to remove as much as possible.
You probably already know this but maybe this will make the lineart removal process easier.
"Saving Accents:
When you are DONE with your skin/accent, you will need to save it in a particular manner. Tick off the body parts layers, so that only your accent, the shading, and the lines are visible. You can even delete these layers, if you feel it's too cluttered. You will have to erase the linework that isn't being used manually. On the layer where you've drawn your accent, right click the layer and select Alpha to Selection. Then select the Linework and erase the part you have not selected (ie the part not contained by your accent).
Merge the lines, shadows, and accent layers in a top-down manner, so the layer on top is merged with the one below it. Delete the invisible layers once all the others have been merged. Go to 'File' > 'Save as...' and save it as a .png. "
Found it here.

Also don't worry about asking me questions, I enjoy helping to be honest.

@Monako
I've read it before, but I did not quite understand it when I started out.
I just saw the light HAHA. Thank you so much once again for your help :)
Have a great day/evening!

@FlameBlitz What program are you using for your accent? Also just to let you know, there's a good chance the accent might not get accepted on Flight Rising due to the blood content around the mouth. They're kinda iffy with their rules for some reason. I see the white, just trying to figure out how the problem was caused.

@Monako (shoot I deleted the wrong forum post; why must I suffer from having multiple tabs)
Thanks for letting me know it might not get accepted.
I use Paint Tool Sai and this has always been happening with all of the accents I have made.

@FlameBlitz If it isn't to much trouble, do you think you could show me a screenshot of your program opened with one of the accents and all the layers visible? I might be able to help you because I also use Paint Tool Sai.

@Monako I would have been able to do that if I didnt get frustrated and closed it out of spite. Perhaps tomorrow I'll make another accent and send you the screen shot then?
