I put up four Spiral hatchlings up for 6k each
Sad thing is I wouldn't mind the plummeting dragon prices if everything else wasn't so damn expensive! Saving up for genes is nigh impossible now. Not that genes are worth the trouble they're worth now...you can by a triple gened dragon for 10k these days.

I know, right???? :D I LOVE it!
I'm finally able to look for really really pretty dragons and be picky and choosy, and eventually find my perfect dragons!
Then I can find genes and extra pretty things for them without having to rebuild an entire hoard of treasure after buying the dragon.
And eventually if I find another perfect mate, I'll breed them, and maybe share their babies with other people!
Of course, I may not gene my dragons right away, since it's not a requirement, and just an extra luxury.
But this is actually a really great point in time on the site for me, I spent the first month here looking at every dragon and then at the hours worth of work I had done to earn treasure and how it wasn't even enough for the 10% deposit on some of those dragons.

It's a fantastic buyer's market to be sure. I just got a gened female Imperial for only 125k. But if you're trying to save up for something - say you want to gene a specific dragon, or get a pricey breed change - it is hell.

I'm still looking for an Imperial that really catches my eye... I've got enough for one, really, before I'm broke again, so I want to make sure it's the real right one for me. C:

You can still make some money on good-looking dragons, though. I paid someone 180k for a lovely spiral yesterday. I just sold a coal/obsidian iri/shim guardian hatchling for 25k. People are just going to have to start matching and breeding more carefully.
I've never understood the idea that a person should be able to gene up a dragon and then make that money back on the first breeding, either. That dragon is gened forever. It can produce gened babies forever. It'll pay for itself -- and more! -- over time, and until then, you have a pretty dragon to look at in your lair.

But I have almost no treasure, and I have a ton of dragons that need to sell, that aren't selling at all. I was going to wait for the prices to go back up but its been like this for a couple weeks? [ Not paying much attention ] but it has been quite annoying, since I tend to rely on breeding and selling dragons for profit because the games are rather boring, honestly and I just don't have the time to play all day to make so little treasure from it.
I think I'm just going to start selling my dragons at 15k, nothing less, more if they are worth it for sure.
