What a nice little project 0u0
I'd love to help out but I'm a wee bit too broke to realistically do anything at the moment (though I do give away some things in the gifting cave so I guess that is something).

AutumnWyvern~~ that's the beauty of a random act of kindness. It doesn't have to happen now. It can happen whenever want it to :3 and like i also said it does have to be physical. You could send a mail to someone asking how their day was or give them a hug.
Never underestimate the power of a hug.
My usual morning routine involves going through the drive-thru at Dunkin' Donuts and getting an order of oatmeal. It's quick, cooked and with no hassell I'm on my way. Today, the usual...until I got to the window. I handed my money to the cashier and to my surprise....she just handed me my oatmeal and said "have a great day!" What? "Oh, no charge! The lady ahead of you paid for it." I was a little speachless - Who was it? Why? To which they didn't know who or why. Then I said .... "Ok! Take this and pay the next one...." And with a smile, and a little lighter heart, I left. Yes, it really does happen and I just received a RAK! My advice .... always pay it forward; for you will never know who or how it impacts someone's day.

I went to Starbucks today, placed my order in the drive-thru, pulled up to the window, the worker handed me my drink and said "The woman in front of you paid for your drink and said that she hopes you have a great day!" -- I was so touched that people still do Random Acts of Kindess; no matter how small! It was $4.55 (the cost of my coffee) that instantly put a very postitive charge in my day and motivated me to do the same for someone else. I cant stop thinking about how simple it was, and what a LARGE affect it has had on my day (in a great way). Whoever you are, Thank You!
First, I'm curious as to where you're getting all these stories. They warm the cockles of my cold shriveled heart. :P
But seriously, this is awesome. I was going to start a Random Acts of Kindness Committee, but you've gone and beat me to it! I'm making a commitment: once I have my dragon Cobweb and Mustardseed all breed-changed and gened, I'm going to give one hatchie from each of their clutches of 2+ eggs to a random player with basic-only dragons. I'll also try to distribute hugs in the meanwhile. :)

I felt that with the current environment and emotional tension of the site that this was needed. I want to show everyone what this site was like before all this craziness happened. And that's great!
I'd like to share an idea I haven't gotten together; I love all these random acts of kindness. They show that there are people out there who do care about others. My idea is taking $50 in quarters to a laundry mat and paying for the laundry of those who do not have a washer and dryer in their homes/apartments. The way I came up with this idea was watching kindness videos that mostly helped people who are in a good or decent position. I have been thinking 'Shouldn't we be helping those who really need it????' Helping those at the checkout stand in the grocery store doesn't do as much good, i believe, as buying a meal for a homeless person. My goal is to help those who truly and unequivocally need help. Thanks for your time and i hope to see more kindness throughout the world!
This is such a sweet thing to do! I hope to gather up enough stuff at some point; once I'm past the dreaded "newbie point" I want to do stuff like this, too. c:
